Loved lennon as a player. As a manager he's objectionable, chippy, aggressive and has zero Pr skills. McCoist is also a pillock. Going to be very tiresome watching these two be one eyed four times a season from here
1: 3 times in the last 3 months Neil Lennon and his young family have been awoken in the middle of the night and removed to a secure location at the bequest of special branch.
2: Last month the UDA sent bullets to Neil Lennon in the post, this particular UDA gang are heavily suspected by the PSNI to have been behind the murder of Kevin McDade in 2009.
3: There have been several facebook campaigns calling for the murder of Neil Lennon and campaigns calling for details of himself and family to be published.
4: A Hoax bomb addressed to Neil Lennon has been found at a sorting office and Police are investigating.
I can not think of any other manager in British, infact world football who has to live under these conditions of employment can you?
Is it any wonder that Lennon appears to have a bee in his bonnet. Afterall his only crime is being an-in-your-face-not-taking-any-of-your-crap-uppity-fenian.
lol. Lennon has been acting like a cock for years. This is not something new.
Obv the threats are bang out of order, noone disputes that. But to say that Lennon only acts the way he does because of them is simply ridic.
Threats and that all that just beyond ridic... are these people really that pathetic.... its football ffs... what kind of mentality threatens a mans children over a game... these people are obv complete morons.. once again religion brings the worst out in people... its like the muslims... for a religion that preaches peace they are a pretty violent bunch

Played the English Deepstack last week, been holding off doing a report, as I can't work out whether I liked it or not. In some ways, it was good, in others, not so good. If I had won it I'm sure it would have been the best comp ever.
Some strange rulings, again, some good, some bad, and a fair bit of controversy over those rulings.
50,000 chips and and 1 hours clock and I still managed to get involved in a near 50k pot at 100-200, with hindsight, and even at the time, I think I should have folded, but I just couldn't for some reason. Certainly, with hindsight, I should have played the flop differently, but I didn't. It left me with 12k that fluctuated between 5k and 45k for the next 8 hours. I knew it wasn't going to be my day when, utg raised to 1400 at 200-400 and 6 people called, I was in the SB with Aces and shoved for 6.2k total. All 7 managed to find a fold. Sigh. I eventually got knocked out in the last level check raising a flush draw v top pair and couldn't get there. Shame really, because that would have been a 90k+ pot at 1k/2k.

It was my birthday on Friday. 38 ffs, nearly as old as sicilidonk and chompy, not quite though. Went to see my dad in the morning and we went to the cemetry. Ran him around a few shops that he needed to go to and headed back home to get ready for my night out to see the Jersey Boys.
Been wanting to see this for a few years now, the music was, maybe still is constantly played in the lifts in the venetian, and I used to enjoy it. It never inspired me to book tickets to go though!
So, Kirsty had kindly booked two tickets for me, and I decided that as she booked them, she could come with me
I'm so kind....
Jumped on a tube to Leicester Square early, so we could go to the box office and pick the tickets up, and then wandered around Soho and Charing Cross road, looking at all the posh restaurants, with their little portions and big prices. Eventually, I settled for a little Italian restaurant that I had heard of before, thought that was safer! It was called Pizza Hut
Left there and headed for the theatre, I'm quite a fan of going to the theatre, don't know why, it's not really something that people who know me would associate me with. The show itself was great, loads of songs that I knew, and some that I knew, but didn't realise they were Frankie Valli songs. Quite an interesting and quite funny story too, which helps fill the gaps in between the songs.
The guys that played the parts of Bob Gaudio & Frankie Valli had superb voices. Someone like Tikay might be able to let us know how good they actually were....

So, what was a day I wasn't really looking forward to, for lots of reasons, turned out to be a great day. Costa coffee on the way home and I was happy as a pig in poo.
Spent the rest of the weekend feeling sorry for myself because my back is killing me, and didn't even manage to get back to Luton Feel like someone has kneed me in the back. Think it's a result of the coughing I have been doing over the last few weeks, must have pulled a muscle or something. Soldiering on ftw.
No poker planned now til the SPT on Saturday, so will fill you in with all the interesting facts I have learned recently...

I went to pick up a kebab last night, as you do, and noticed that there was a blue plaque above one of the shops in the parade. It said the name John Foxe. Never heard of him, so I decided to educate myself when I got home. Turns out he is some sort of writer who wrote about the suffering of protestants in the 14th century. That's as far as I got before losing interest.
He lived in the parade of shops, which was obviously a house at the time.
I hope when I die, the kebab shop put a blue plaque above the shop. It's the least I deserve.

So i got researching into famous people where I live. The best, and come to think about it, the only person I could find was a news presenter called Kate Silverton. Never heard of her either. I think I'm more well known in Waltham Abbey, than she is.

Stephen Bywater used to live around the corner from you.

would make sense, I think a few West Ham & Tottenham players live or lived round here, Calum Davenport lived in Waltham Abbey for a while too. He hated it. I can see why.
Apparently it has more pubs per square mile than anywhere else in the UK. Don't know if that's a fact fact or Billy Bullshit Paparestis type fact.
Jade Goody had a house just up the road too.
Of course, none of those mentioned actually come from Waltham Abbey, which is sort of not really relevant Mr Window Fitter.

Sounds like the one they showed up here a while back. The 2 guys skimming off the top man when he wasn't there by throwing the money onto the roof of a container.
GG them
