Just regged for a £210 HU and my table won't even load.
Nothing wrong with my machine at all.
Tilted
Cos, I have now had that fully investigated.
It appears that in the first instance, it was a HU SNG, & there was NOT another opponent, so that was why the Table did not load - there was not an opponent. It only loads a SNG HU IF an opponent appears, & it would seem they were too scared to play you.....
Later, you did play some HU, I gather, & you also played, without any problems from what I'm told, some £1.50-£3 Cash. You wanted to play some Omaha Heads Up, too, but once again, you scared away all the punters.....
Hope that clears up any confusion.
Any further probs, let me know, please.
PS - You have a PM from me.
Hi Teeks,
Cheers for the pm.
Seems like some of the above info is incorrect though.
I played the cash games before entering the sng (none after). I registered for the SNG because there was already another player registered (Lolufold). I wouldnt have entered if there was going to be a wait.
I got a friend to log in on his computer and then took over via remote control from there with a 2800-1200 chip deficit. Obviously I still beat Lolu but I want to start playing a bit more on there, (like in the blonde PLO league etc) and I can't risk this happening in tournies.
Is there anything I can do to make sure it doesn't?
Cheers,
Cos
Not that I'm aware of, because it's not a problem I'm familiar with, & nobody else experienced such problems last night that I am aware of.
It's true to say that the Tables on Sky Poker often take up to 30 seconds to first load, & then initialise, but that irritant (which has always been the case) will be solved by Monday or Tuesday, when a new super-fast Lobby & Table-Loading thingymajig will be "released".
I may have got the sequence of the games you played last night confused, sorry, but my point is/was, that presumably you never had the problem on the other Tables, I'm guessing?
As to the HU SNG, I can only assume Lolufold de-regged when he saw you getting interested in his money, Redmond is no fool......
Anyway, as promised this morning, a Free Entry, by way of compensation & apology, awaits you. Tough field, though, Thewy, MC, Bazza Carter, me......
Tyvm that's much appreciated.
Sky will be seeing a lot more of me. I want the £5.50 PLO title tonight, almost as much as I want to bust you in it.
I along with a few others have a few minor hiccups with Sky with the updated version of Firefox, so if you are going in via a browser ( I still prefer this version and Lolufold still used it the last time I spoke to him) which I still do so I can mess with table sizes which you can't with the download, it's either full size or the multitable.
So if you still want to use the browser method Cos I suggest using Chrome, it's much quicker.

It happens all the time with the browser version, reg for MTTs and SNGs and they dont open up. Its by far the worst of any site Ive ever played on as supposedly you need to regularly clear your computers cache and do some other regular maintenance just for Sky Poker to work. The default line by Sky is to say "Well nobody else had problems so it must have been a fault on your end". However the downloadable software is much much better and Ive never had a problem with it so Id recommend everyone playing on Sky to download the client instead of playing in browser

Ahhhh, thanks, that explains why I probably don't have so many problems, my comp is fairly new and after the Cardrunners episode and my Hotmail account being hacked I'm alot more vigilant and slightly OCD these days!

if anyone has recently upgraded to firefox 4.0 there are issues at the moment with it and this could be one of the problems. If you are one of those could I suggest un-installing it and then going back to version 3.6
hope this helps

This has probably already been asked but are there any software packages for poker analysis that are compatible with Sky? It doesn't look like poker tracker or holdem manager are.

If £110 is a bit rich, there is a £24 1 in 5 feeder to it at 5.15pm.
