last time i saw dave was at the £330 at the start of december. he didnt look too well, so instead of my usual "how are you", i instead used "nice to see ya , mate," think he appreciated that, and im glad i got a chance to let him know i enjoyed his company.

Im relatively new to the poker scene but Im honoured to have met and played on the same tables as Dave. I cant add any more that hasn't already been said from fellow poker players.
Condolences to his family.

I first met Dave Smith about nine years ago at Owlerton I believe. I shared a few tables with him over these few years and learned to respect him greatly as a player. More than this, Dave was one of the great gentlemen of poker. Many will miss him just as much as I will.
