When you play Chinese will you be quitting your sessions after 15 minutes?

Depends, will the losers be paying up?

Nothing to report so far as alas I've been bed stricken with Tonsillitis and a fever for the past 36 hours Sad pretty miserable but think it's clearing up and I managed to get out for a few hours tonight which was nice.

Regged for $1500 tomorrow but will only play if I feel a lot better.

I never get ill either, literally missed less than 5 days of school lifetime I reckon and barely ever gotten ill since then, so day 1 of Vegas isn't ideal timing, esp as I wanted to go to EDC.

Saving the rungood for the poker then...

Serve of EDC is probably the nut best result, you'd be in a body bag after for days - trust me Smiley

For some that would be the case, but for obvious reasons others probably cope with things like that better Cheesy

So I played the $1500 yesterday, feeling better but not much better, I just felt like I should man up and that the worst of it was definitely behind me.

It was bizarre, because within the first hour of play I suddenly felt 100x better. Maybe i just needed that poker fix!

I suppose it had been a while since I last played - I remember I always used to notice when I'd been several days without playing - it felt unusual and I was always itching to get back. Now it's not the same, I can take time off and not think about poker very easily, and while I'm playing it struggles to capture my attention like it used to. Which is a good and a bad thing I suppose.

I did enjoy yesterday a lot though, and I'm really excited for the rest of the series, I don't remember these events being as soft as it was yesterday, so I'm optimistic for the trip!

I ran well yesterday, was on the right end of some horrible coolers early on, which is really useful given the structure (4500 starting stack) so that helped me always have a healthy stack. I didn't run so well towards the end of the day, but still made it through with 27,200 going into 600/1200.

We're very close to the money so I should scrap in and then see what we can do! A nice half a milli up top...I always stress the importance of a good start to Vegas, that would qualify....

Jack has had an even better start, and has a huge day 3 sweat - twenty something left in Venetian 1600 with 143k up top! He's promised the boys a huge night out when he ships, can't wait! Will be straight on the rail if I bust today.

Exciting times already...
