Anyone else agree with this?^

Ftr I'm not learning HUNL just finetuning a few leaks.

Heads up games/tables etc need a massive rethink, anonymous is/could be good. Potentially having a min number of hands you must play with someone so you cant sit get 3 bet and be like sigh reg I sit out would be an improvement....

What I think they should do is do like rush poker on tilt. You get dumped in a pool of say 30 players, and every time you fold, you get a new random opponent. The reason 6-max and full ring games go is because people are prepared to play against 5 people they can't beat much to get their hands on a fish. If you are playing in a pool of 30 players- you, 24 regs and 5 fish, then I think it would be better for everyone.

heads up is about momentum and game flow and adjusting and playing 1 player. the idea of heads up vacuuum spots just seems pants. I realise you'd slowly get reads but not sure I like that idea.

playing hu is fine and as long as you play regs the games aren't that scares. most winning regs below nl200 play way too tight. just red line rape them and keep a note of who they are. Use a buddy list to see when they are online... that way you know you will have action without trawling thru loads of tables getting grimmed.

to hunl  well regularly past nl100 you will need at least 4 sites with money on.

hu teaches a lot and is a great fallback to have.

start learning plo hu, much softer and bumhunting in negligible in comparison.

mmm going to have to disagree.

I played HU PLO solely in late '09 - most of 2010.

When I started playing I was playing 50/1 - 2/4 and there were prolly about 15 people who I would class as "regs" if there was no action about and someone sat you you either played or asked to play a stake lower, when you had a good game running people wouldn't snap waiting list the game, and no1 tried to steal the tables starting with "A" or whatever and was all very nice. and most of us made decent money - some guys who I played with then playing nosebleeds now

Now I look at the lobby of FTP and between 1-2 and 5-10 there must be 150  half empty HU tables,
this is my FTP PTR http://www.pokertableratings.com/fulltilt-player-search/lildavefish (i know, lol) and the other I sat for over 4 hours between 1/2 and 5/10 and played 35 hands at 2/4, before getitng hit and run for a buyin. Then you have multi-accounting and the old 3bet first hand grims to worry about

Its fucking gross and Im embarrassed for all of them pretty much.  I still love heads up but couldn't play it full time anymore, its just a big fucking joke.

Might move up to 100nl on stars cos there isnt much happening at 50nl and I've been crushing fairly hard, played 5k hands up 11buyins in the 3.5days i've been playing. Playing 3/4tables but 80% of regs just dont play me so its hard to have a decent session.

Was watching the UKIPT Nottingham episode on 4od last night. Liv Boeree has a ridic posh accent, its rele similar to mine but even posher imo. I don't remember it being that posh when we went to hooters together but it was fairly noisy in there I suppose. As for the poker, it was just lol. everyhand was lol.

Great to have awesome sunny weather here, had first kickabout of the year with Mark and Bobby - good times - thinking about staying at home for a while. There's a £300 at Foxes this weekend as well so might go down to London for that.

My mate plays loads of these euro sites and crushes. He even backs 4 or 5 other lads to play em full time. I guess this is where the value is

They travel to ukipts but I don't think they cam be arsed with em really. They just wanna get back to the apartments to play on line. One of em has been chip leader in both the last two in Manchester and Nottingham but not made cash. One won the heads up in Galway and max silver was after doing a deal in the final.  My mate just laughed n said not a chance

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww. Filthy. I raise a bit more on the flop. not a fan of click backs on these types of board as he has a decent price to continue with a lot of hands, but against this guy it probably wouldn't change a thing anyway. Not sure what his line is. Maybe puts you on ak or fd and fancies his price to pair up, I guess he plans to jam any turn (although you clearly cant fold...) obv hits his miracle and enduces. Unlucky man but its people like this that make us the money in the long run. We need them for the game.
