Strange day today. My Dad has been working with a sculptor on a project for 2 years now and the end product has now arrived in our garden. Today was the "unveiling ceremony" with the sculptor and his family present, and a few of my Dad's friends. Me and Mark and his mrs were on guard to represent the family and make small talk. It's supposed to be three naked women all interlocked and intertwined with one another. I think it's pretty ghastly to be honest, and totally dominates the front garden, although I suppose it is quite impressively made and if I was cultured enough to know anything about sculpture, then maybe I'd appreciate it more.

Lol. how big is the back?? there is more grass there than my whole street.

That's only part of the front garden.  The rest of it is largely taken up by the front nine...

yes didnt selfbok! snaplost a buyin though so was worried you were right jamie but got out of it. played 500hands and won $1.10 whoop. Pretty tired now so gonna cut it short and go to bed rather than play 500 more for the sake of it when I'm tired. Gonna try and get 3k hands everyday until friday when Hannah comes yaayyyyyy.

Gooood day. Lost $80 but don't mind about that. Played 3k hands and had some pretty annoying hands but managed to keep focussed and kept playing good. In one session, instantly lost 3 buyins but played on and didn't tilt at all Smiley Perhaps shouldve folded Kings when I got double c/raised on T76 4 but called it off dead vs 89 Sad

But it was a good day, cos me and my brother chilled all day which was cool and we decided to cook my dad dinner for when he came home - I hardly ever cook, I hate it tbh, but felt my Dad was really stressed at the weekend and would appreciate it. So that was my good deed for the day Smiley

My brother apparently has more of a gambling personality than me I think. When he last came to Nottingham we went to Alea and he played roulette and kept quiting then going back for more. Now I come home and he's been betting on loads of footy matches this weekend as well as the grand national.  He put a fiver on an accumulator at 8-1 and they all came in over the weekend but the last match was Besiktas tonight so I joined in for the sweat and put £50 on them to win. This was my first bet since the world cup - I really don't make a habit of it. That said, I do love the sweat and might do some more accumulators in the coming weeks a fiver a time or something. Beskitas won and Mark was over the moon, I think the £40 he won has literally doubled his networth as he is a superbroke student.

My 50NL hourly is $27 (14k hands), better than my hourly for 50/1live ($14.5) and about the same as 1/2live ($26.50) but not as good as live tourneys ($39). Will move up to 100NL soon, not sure why I haven't already, gonna get started on one of the european sites for that. So all is good - really great to have this to fall back on for when live goes shit. The 14k hands I've played in the last 9days is more than I played in the last FOUR months!

Started playing a bit of 50/1 this afternoon on stars. Found this guy who kept making $1 bluffs. 5 or 6 times he bet $1 on the river whether the pot be 10,20, 50 with T high, 8high, 4high etc it was so weird. nice life i guess.
