once at dtd rob was getting berated by a guy telling him he was shit, broke and he'd play him HU for "any amount" rob ignores him then after 5mins says very calmly "do you want to play hu?" the guy says he will crush him at any stake. He casually goes to the cash desk gets £5k and sits down on an empty table smiling at the guy. The gentleman in question left the building 10mins later. was fkin awesome would love to have seen that |

Was this guy at gala young and quite well built?
There was one guy I played with kept asking to play for 1k and I said I will but he didn't reply then he said 1k was too small and wanted to play for 3k
He was pretty drunk at the time but seemed to be a ok player

A lot of the good players I know don't relish the chance to play with him or anything. |

I once gave rob and tommy C a lift to DTD, and on the way back, I almost decided to give up poker after listening to Rob talk about a series of hands. His analysis of a poker hand is just something else, both in terms of comprehension and ability to explain it. I listen to a load of bart Hanson stuff and Rob is the only person that I have heard explain a thought process like him. |
