Reads: the small blind is a guy called Andy, I don't think he reads blonde, but I'll err on the side of caution with all of this. Basically he could have 45 suited here. He always like a gamble, he cold calls the £34, wanting to see a flop with his pretty hand, then when so many people call £34 he sees the value and just fancies a gamble and calls it off. I'm 1000000% sure I'm ahead of him. His whole body language when he put the chips in were that of a naughty schoolboy who knows he's doing something he shouldn't but he wants to do it anyway.
Now my read on the cutoff is the most important of course. The cutoff is Shaun King, who we all know from here. Now, I have to be careful again here, because he slated my play in this hand afterwards, so I'm just gonna say what I was thinking at the time. He's in the cutoff with 3 people to act behind him. Granted the button is Tom giveyourcash, who is decent, but from what I've seen on the 1/2 and 2/5 not that aggro. How Shaun can be sure Tom is gonna squeeze this I don't know. There's 4/5 people in the pot for £6, if you had JJ+, I just thought there's no way he could flat the £6 and risk the pot going 6 or 7 ways. I've played with Tom for a few months now and haven't noticed at all a tendency to squeeze or anything. Just thought there's no way Shaun can have AA/KK/QQ. JJ I'm worried about. There's a chance he may not wanna bloat the pot pre, and just see a safe flop and disguise his hand, but now that the action has gone as it has, he has to shove cos there's so much 'dead' money there. I thought far more likely was AK, AQ perhaps 99 as well. I know you're reading this Shaun thinking, "I'd never put £300 in with two nines" but I'm just giving you my reasoning behind the call that you thought was so awful.
Oops I spoilt the build up. I called.

Now it's back on UTG+2 and MP. Who have perhaps the weakest ranges of them all. Utg+2 is a lovely chap I know from Gala called Argos. Dunno if that's his real name, but to everyone, he's Argos. Or "serial tankatron 4".
We have to go through the motions of him umming and ahhing and then folding. That's what I expected anyway, he ALWAYS tanks and folds. ALWAYS!
But no, in true live poker fashion, he utters the word "value" and shoves his £125 in, wanting a piece of the value pie.
Last man left in the pot is an unknown villain with about £200 back. No idea what he's gonna do but I'm not really liking the chances of my Tens holding up at the moment (if they were in front in the first place
) so sort of want him to fold.
Again, in true live poker fashion, he utters the phrase "fuck it" and lauches his chips over the line, causing them to go everywhere. The dealers having a mare. Gavin the floorman comes over and sorts out all 5 side pots. There's friggin £1200 in the middle on a 50/1 table! He says it's the biggest pot on 50/1 in the history of the club. mwahahahahah let's do a win then please!

By this time, the entire club has gathered round the table to watch. I know I said there was only two other tables, but let's pretend suddenly there's a room full of people and they're all gathered round this table watching.
Andy, the small blind cold caller, proudly announces his hand "Six Seven"
The unknown guy says "ah you've got my outs, I've got five six!"
I asked Shaun what he has "a big pair", and I reply, "so have I" and he says that he's got me beat. Uhohhhh! At least I'm getting the right price, getting basically 4:1 on my £300!
The flop...
Fist pump from Andy who's flopped what he wanted, a draw.
Big sigh from me, as my Ten now gives Andy a straight and Andy is in for £250 so the 2nd biggest stack.

I snap turn my hand over, and just like in the movies, the spectators cheer and applaud my excellent play for gaining such a high ranking hand.
Shaun doesn't turn his hand over, I still don't know what he has, but I'm worried he's got the mother of all slowrolls in him. Kings full. Please, no. My morale badly needs this pot.
He mucks and I scoop the lot.
