Made day two of one drop but busted early today before the money. Playing 1k satellite now which currently has 860 runners! 86 main event seats!

Last day of grinding before a fun couple days. Tomorrow has potential to be the sickest night out ever. The best night out of my life by far was in Vegas last year, Hakkasan, Laidback Luke.

Tomorrow we're going there again for Calvin Harris. I'm so excited, I've never seen him live before and the club is just the sickest place ever.

Sunday will be the ultimate R&R day before the main on Monday.

It's gone so quick can't believe we're at the main already!

Well that was EPIC!

Calvin "kicked ass" as they say here. Just such an awesome presence about him, and he just has thousands of people at his mercy, waiting on his every move. The DJs pre and post were sick too. Hakassan was just as good as last year. Didn't bump into Trickett this year alas, but our table was still decent and the whole night just worked really well. It was absolutely rammed, trying to get on the dancefloor was a mission, but spent a good 2-3 hours there, and then having the table set back a bit was really cool to have a "base" where we could have a timeout, and also they let you dance on the tables and stuff back there which was cool.

Obviously you get grimmed for the drinks. We had a $2k minimum spend table, which they add 40% tax & gratuity on!, so that's $2800 you have to spend straight away. So they give you a menu, and i remember a magnum grey goose was $1095, plus the 40% so about $1500. That bottle got you about 30 drinks, so between 10-12 of us, about 3 each. So get two of those and you've spent $3k already, and had 6 drinks each - so it's not hard to spend the $2800 and can very easily do more! Luckily I'm a lightweight and we tactically drank a bit before so didn't need another bottle but still...And remember that's just a standard table, there's $6k and $10k min spend tables right on the dancefloor too! It's like another world out here...but a good one!

Amazingly we did meet pokerfans sister! Got to say, pretty brave of her to come into a club like that on your own with a really vague plan of just meeting a bunch of guys she's never met before. But here she is...

Had the perfect R&R day yesterday, plenty of sleep, a 50 minute swedish massage, then jacuzzi, steam room, ice bath etc, and a chilled evening at the "movies". Felt amazing and the ideal preparation for the big one today.

All of our lot are playing today, all got swaps with each other, so really looking forward to the day. ONE TIME!
