George2Loose, doubleup and cdw still in with 8 left

Excellent!

Doubleup's alias is?

Young Bedi should win that from here.

Agreed, even if he was lucky earlier to spike a 2 outer against Joobs to KO her, woulda decimated him otherwise.

One Q guys, why is the payouts set up for a 10 handed tourn, when it's 6-handed?

Not that I'm complaining, 9th and all that...

No idea, Adam, sorry!

I'd have gone for this year's bracelet winner myself...

Meh - my mistake.  Told the Lads to back off and let me play it meself.  They gave out after the exit hand.  Think they know it all.  Hindsight imo.

i know it's probs a bit late to be raising this kind of thing, but tbh i haven't looked at it properly before now.  are the +5 and +10 bonus points for finalling/winning really necessary when the points are quite heavily loaded towards the top anyway?  could mean the league is sewn up pretty early on and put off participants in later events?

yep

maybe. If it proves to be the case it will be changed for February. my league formats are nothing if not adaptable!

As it is, nice incentives to reach that final six...

Are you able to say whether this level of support is enough to see this deal stick? Or is it dependant on increased activity outside of the league tournaments too?

Too early to say abut the deal.

It requires

a) sign ups

b) reactivation of dormant accounts/little used accounts

c) regular play

d) support of the leagues

Initial signs are encouraging, but Sky will be able to do a thorough analysis in due course.

As tikay has said, its pretty crucial that this works for us, so the support so far is greatly appreciated.

Cash play prolly just as important (if not more so) at the end of the day...no?

Absolutely, but the blonde player base (generalising) tends to be MTT players rather than cash grinders..so its a relative weakness

However the cash games on Sky are good. Dip in, even I win a bit.

+1 to Tighty's comments, thank you very much, this has been MUCH better thn I dared hope.

If we can think of a way where we can generate some cash action, too, it might just get us over the line.

I'll give some thought as to how, if at all, we can ensure supportive blondes get looked after. We've thrown a bit of money at it already, but if it works, then it's worth it.

Felt very much like the blonde of 5 years ago, this evening, with plenty of craic & banter.
