Impressive nip-avoidance with the rub-down artist at the bar George.

Really good trip report, a most enjoyable read.

Your trip reports are a fascinating read, keep writing please

You always include a lot of detail on significant hands. Do you make notes or just have good recall?

I struggle with remembering a lot of the information about a hand after 10 minutes has passed (this may, or may not be age-related - I can recall every shot I played in a round of golf for days).

My less effective memory for poker hands used to lead to my badbeat stories being long and even more tedious than most. Once I realised this I stopped telling them (mostly) and now try to limit my post-exit conversatiion to the simplest of formats. "AA no good", or "flopped the set, he flopped the straight" etc

George's recall for hands played, even from 4 years ago is unbelievable, even for hands that other people have played. Without doubt the best I have ever known. I however struggle to remember what happened on the flop once the turn card has been revealed!!

When I first started playing the game, and maybe even a year later, I couldn't remember what happpened in a hand like 1 hour ago. But when I actually started thinking about hands while I play, instead of just calling/raising/folding depending on the strength of my hand, I seem to remember hands fairly well now.

But do have to admit, George does remember hands well. He seemed to remember a hand I played maybe 1.5 - 2 yrs after I played it, perfectly well.

No idea how or why but my recall in hands is very good. As Kev as said, even hands I'm not involved in I can remember.

Depending how today goes may or may not do a Monte Carlo trip report Cheesy

So me and Shelley have been having the celeb list debate.

For anyone who hasn't seen friends this is 5 celebs you're allowed to bed without recrimination. Shelley's list consists of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Gus Hansen, Nicolas Cage and Johnny Depp.

Here's the reveal for mine. Number 1. Introducing Miss Kelly Brook. Yes pls!

Gus Hansen. At least there is a decent chance of bumping into him! Clever girl.

Choose a female poker player imo. Obrestad??

Never. Would be too embarassing if I actually met the person on the circuit. I have a name in mind though.
