You have like specifically pocket tens or he's good, unless you've made a questionable preflop call with A3 or A4 of spades.

You never flat a set on this flop, you're never shoving 99 or JJ on the river, you 3b QQ+ preflop, and you fold everything else pf.

edit: I guess you could have AThh sometimes as well, but meh...

dont be too sure, as I would 2 pr and a flopped str8. I would be much more likely to raise 2 pr than a set in position, but sometimes play them smaller, especially when this deep to avoid getting counterfeited.

please point out where i said i was upset? - all i said is that i thought it was getting thru as it looked like a standard bet fold. I am not remotely disappointed with the way i played this hand - 2% of villains play it that way and call the end

FWIW I would raise most of my flush draws on this flop as they would either be super combo draws/ nfd/ or 2 broadways and FD. The only flush draw im not raising on this flop is like 78 89 9T

I agree some draws missed but there are plenty made hands that I play that way - the only thing the river does is take 22 out of my range

as for getting 2:1 - he has 80bbs left - kinda meaningless @ 15 30 imo.

id be very interested to hear why he makes the call (he tanked fwiw) - and we have no history

Yeah I know what you mean, when I make some funky 3 barrel in a SNG, which I pretty much never do without the nuts, and they snap me with 3rd pair or something and it's the one time I have air I think the same thing.
