Are deals of this magnitude written down or is it basically just a handshake gesture?

would obviously be a very scummy thing for someone to not live up to the agreement but is it enforcable in anyway?

not sure, i know someone who did a deal in an EPT and was left to him to Xfer the money to the other person on stars. would be very scummy

That was my next question; generally the organisers of tournys this size frown on dealing and generally try to ban it so they wouldnt facilitate the dealing of dosh do they? so youd have all the extra charges and time consuming crap trying to get organised between 2 different countries(in this case).

nah dont think theres any chance of it just loads of dosh to be agreeing on a handshake; I'd shit myself personally!
