will it be 10k stacks?

i prefer a higher buy in like 100-200E
but probs alot more successful it being 50E

a 500E tourney will be pretty good

They regularly get 300+ for the super 50.

The 100 comp struggles to hit 200.

No doubt what the masses want.

amazing if they make 5000 runners even if half the field at 2500 all had one re entry ....just staggering

That's what I was just thinking... I mean, if it was a rebuy comp it obv wouldn't count. I guess re-entries are just about different enough.

I guess they just have to be careful with the wording. It's guaranteed for 5000 runners. If they break it then they should say they have had x entries as opposed to x runners.

I doubt they really give a shit if its a record or not. That many people through the door in a week playing the tourney, cash games and house games is a result for them from a business point of view.......

I think the record is really important to them. The thing from a business point of view that's genius about re-entries as opposed to rebuys is the fact they get the session fees from the re-entries.

The thing I like about the re-entries from a players pov is it gives a different mind set to rebuying. Having to bust, no rebuys on starting stacks, no add-ons, makes for a sufficiently different dynamic that I'm happy to play in. I don't mind the occasional rebuy game but if it was a proper rebuy it would put most people off I imagine.

They already have the record and no-one is likely to break it soon, its all about the business this one. Great idea though, shame I can't play it that one either.
