This may have been covered already.

Is the juice going to be the same for the online comps as the live ones?

also what is the structure online......be great to have a decent stack and long blinds in your undies Cheesy

absolutely loving this idea, for people like me who love DTD but its a ball ache to get to + expenses before you play a hand.....knowing if you make day2 your at least min cashing suits me down to the ground (as well as everyone else who lives over an hour away)

   wp rob and simon....very innovative.

little idea for other sats online, add accom and travel to packages, sure would be popular with people that have the shallower pockets (the £300 monthly is really a £500 for me with travel and hotel) otherwise i'd play it a lot more

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Sorry if this has been asked already. If i make day 2 in one of the early events, but with a crappy short stack, can I play again in an attempt to make day 2 with a bigger stack and then play the bigger one on the day?

Truly amazing concept btw

No idea why I am asking this as I doubt it will be a concern for me!

Are the Golden Chips awarded for winning a satellite into a Day1, or for being one of the first to qualify online for day 2?

Haha thanks mate, Id like to say that we are that brave but its actually the other way round! The Grand Prix 4 date was actually set back in Jan 2011, I am pretty sure Goliath wasn't around then.

It's them that have scheduled an event a week after us, rather that us scheduling our Grand Prix a week before their Goliath. I was surprised and also a bit disappointed when they clashed a £100 buy-in event with the APAT World Championship £75 buy-in at Dusk Till Dawn, especially as they have hosted APAT events themselves, but I am not party to the reasons behind this. We will however offer to market APAT as much as possible as well as maybe giving them some advertising/marketing space at Grand Prix 4, if they feel that will help them with numbers, although APAT have a very loyal membership base so maybe Goliath wont hurt them.

Clashed are unavoidable, but i dont think we should do clashes where the tournament buy-ins are close, that just splits the customers across two locations and does noone any favours - haha - unless their is an overlay!

Anyway, this is how the UK tournament calender REALLY works if anyone is interested;

1. Pokerstars set their EPT and UKIPT dates
2. GUKPT then set their dates to avoid Pokerstars
3. Dusk Till Dawn get whats left!

Life as a bottom feeder can be fun tho Smiley

Cheers Rob

PS. I have no problems with GUKPT, Dena is great, I just wish whoever thought up the Goliath idea and set the date could have told us earlier and also not clashed with APAT or put too close us Grand Prix 4:(
