10% of anything is still 10% and the estimated time of completion is when the average stack is between 8bb to 12bb With a 10k stack level 16 is 5k/10k

Well I know what you mean in principle but it's never going to happen in reality.

A comp with 100k chips in play will finish a lot sooner than 1 with 4 million even though there's 1 winner compared to 40.

The difference between 300 and 400 runners would be minimal but at those extremes I'm pretty sure you'd see a big difference.

In theory you shouldn't see a difference, but do understand where you are coming from. All live day 1s have followed the same pattern btw.
