Slightly tricky to update this, as another player is following the update on his IPhone (on the other table). So no more clues.

Tomney now the short stack, on the five handed table, and about to go through the blinds.....

Hand for hand, so as one table finishes and the dwell develops on the other the others crowd round expectantly

Clearly a big deal for these players, a lot of money at stake for them, and good luck to them all.

It seems rather unfair to be playing a five-handed table and a four-handed one.

Why aren't they simply playing nine-handed until they lose one then move to the TV final table?

Suprised at them doing that, went 9 handed for MC even thought FT was only 8, it is pretty unfair.

Some of the players agree with you. Those "some" are playing four handed

About 2m

No bashing required.

Its a bubble of a €50 comp near the end of 3 gruelling days play with big money at stake for these guys. Some decisions that seem sub optimal to an updater or a watcher of the updates should be expected in this rather than another situation, I would contend, especially when a golden chip dynamic is added in for another player too

are they doing this by mumbling quietly or kicking up a fuss? really ought to be the latter
