Dunno , but i think It was a real twat move by Fergie, How the fook can he justify not having the Prem league top scorer on the bench but yet Micheal Owen does make it?

He did the same with Van Nistelrooy aswell , must feel like a great fella making an example of someone like that at cup finals.

Berba's a great on the ball player so shines when his team have lots of easy possession, like in the Prem. Fergie can realistically expect the possession stats to be exactly as they were vs Barca and conclude Berbatov wont bring much to the table in such a game. He's no Park Ji Sung with his off the ball work imo. Maybe Berba didn't take Hernadez getting the nod very well so didn't get the bench either. Either way Berbatov would never have had any impact on the sort of game it was so good call by SAF. Maybe he goes back to spurs if Harry sniffs a bargain or back to Germany.

Hernandez is excellent but this is true. I think a bit more guile was needed tbh. Maybe Berba isn't that man but he is moreso than Owen. Can see 2/3 strikers leaving Utd this summer.

Berbatov
Owen
Diouf
Macheda

Leaves Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and stop Barca getting Rossi by taking up your 1st option on him?

I doubt he will go back to spurs, just before he left he refused to play for the club again unless they sold him, doubt that he would be very welcome from the fans the way he left.
