Apart from that, this will be a long bubble period. Not too many short-stacks and some quite snug play

Quite a brutual bubble period, and I stayed down there in case I missed any of it

Stage 1

Anon from Birmingham limps and Lloyd Watts raises on the button

Very large stacked Anon calls

flop

Anon open shoves. Huge well from Watts who passes

Is shown

Stage 2

With two short stacks clinging on on other tables

Jason Herbert raises with

Kyriacos Potamitis calls in the small blind with

flop

Potamtis leads for 17,000

Herbert 34,000

Potamtis shoves 120,000

called

turn and river   for a horrible runner runner

Herbert left with 1.5x bb

Stage 3

As the last hand before the break comes, Herbert is automatically all in on the big blind

On another table I join the action as Jamie Morris leads for 24,000 on

Richard Horton makes it 55,000

Morris thinks and thinks and calls

is shown   by Horton

we hit the break then with 37 left, 36 paid, and Herbert all in on the first hand back in the big blind
