I thought there was only 1 hand lol, I'd jam the first one and either 3b/call the 2nd or peel. I'd jam the first hand expecting to get called vs a good reg 77+ AJs+, that range too wide ?

Why jam hand 1 and 3b call or peel the 2nd hand? Whats the big diff? These two hands happened pretty much bk to bk

He's opening from mid pos in hand 1 so his opening range is wider and our jamming range incs weaker hands/bluffs from late pos then if we jam vs an utg open when utg+2, doubt we are very often doing that as a bluff.

from my brief observations of online MTT tendancies isn't it the fashion to open wide UTG these days, or is that soooo 2010?

I thought it was 2009 tbh, I agree but I don't think people attack it too much.

does he really 4b jam with worse than 9's given that he's raised in earlyish pos and ive 3b with about 4 players to act?

What would be your play with 99 here if you hand 40, 50 or 60 bigs here and villian had you covered, i guess peel then? However, if were miles ahead with 99 with 30 bigs and people are saying get it in, fistpump etc then why not get it in fistpump if we have a much bigger stack.

yeh vs this opponent i would fistpump 3b/5b 60bb

i guess i have a completely diff dynamic vs him but even so the guy opens very very very wide from all positions. he's not an idiot, he is aware of how wide he opens, and therefore fights back vs 3bets pretty wide too

u could just ship over him with 30bb and it'd be profitable, but our hand is just about good enough to try and induce. the trick is to 3bet other hands at other points in the game so that this 3bet doesn't look absurdly strong
