It's not quite TfT, but just noticed that we've recently hit 2.5k posts and 50k views on this thread, which makes me smile.

Not bad considering that it's basically a small group of people competing for 4months or so each year in a game related to a so-called minority sport.  Every season, a few more give it a go and almost without fail get the bug.

Just before we rinse and repeat for another season, it's worth saying thanks to all of you who make this such a fun thread.

Thanks for organising it every year mate, its an unbelievably fun rail during the games (redzone ftw) and feels so much more important than the small stakes we play for.

On a personal note I feel we need to keep the dynasty running for at least another 7 years for me to have a decent chance of recouping my investments from the previous seasons so lets hope for a day we hit 10k posts and 200k views.

Hear Hear on thanks for Running. Only started last Season and would ditch Soccer now to watch NFL. I just love it.

Still coming to terms with it all but Sunday night with Redzone and a Few beers is the nuts. Sitting with Ipad on the Fantasy Football.
Long may it continue.

Right im off to look at my next Season Pro Rookie to draft.

curtis

i have kelvin benjamin who is on IR

i would like to place him on IR and create a draft spot

i cannot see how to do this. any idea?

I have the same issue with Jordy Nelson, but it's because neither player has been officially placed on IR by their teams yet.

Yahoo works from the NFL official status.  Once a player is IR eligible, the IR option will appear when you try to move him on your roster, and once moved he stays there all season.

There's a list within the site of who is eligible.  http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/1552/playerchanges?type=ir

This is a better overview of who's been placed on IR by each team - http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/injuries/pup

Not quite sure why they hang fire like this (possibly assessing whether they can use the one-time eligible to return option, but I don't think this applies to either Benjamin or Nelson's injuries), but at the moment both are out for the season but not yet on IR!

Rich

Just spotted from my other DLeague (where I own him) that Benjamin is now showing as IR-eligible, so you should now be able to see the IR slot for him.  Not yet for Jordy Nelson though Sad

Yes, once he goes to IR you get the slot back.
