Julio Jones out for the rest of the season. Well that's us screwed then.
Anyone else had a massive injury like this so early on in previous seasons ? If so how did you cope ?
I can't see anyway back for us but will keep trying every week regardless.
The impact of injuries is pretty brutal, but not impossible to overcome.
I lost Jamaal Charles for the season in Wk1 or 2 a couple of seasons ago, after taking him No 2 overall, and still managed to win that league.
In contrast, I turned down a trade offer last season from Horner (from memory, it was something like he sent AJ Green for MJD). One week later MJD limped off with a foot injury and then spent the rest of the season fooling everyone into thinking he might return the following week, and I slowly dropped out of the playoff places as my lack of reliable RB depth killed me.
As Tighty says, the waiver wire is less of an option in deeper leagues like this (but not completely hopeless), so you'll probably need to look at trades. It's not impossible, particularly in a division where every team is 2-3 at present.
Don't forget, the immediate target is 8th place or above to sneak into the playoffs. After that, anything can happen.
I got Austin Pettis from waivers last week.
While he's no Julio Jones, he should be a solid number 2 WR in a 16 team league.

Wow 7 trade offers in one day!
Marky & I spent the last couple of hours looking at them but I couldn't accept any of them in the end.
Maybe it's because I am a nit but I always think I am getting done over. Two offers were very close but we talked each other out of them.

Looking for a RB.
I've got some decent WR depth: James Jones, DeAndre Hopkins, Anquin Boldin, Austin Pettis, Emanuel Sanders and Kenny Stills
Will trade any of these for the right running back.
Might even consider shipping two for one.

Not a single player in either the Thursday game or the early Sunday games. I think that's a first for me.

What are the tie breakers to determine league order Curtis?
Can't believe my badly drafted/injury riddled team can be top of any league.
It should be H2H record, followed by total points. You've only played Horner in your league so far though.
However, I've spotted a flaw in this, as the randomly generated fixtures don't guarantee that you'll play everyone in your division. Looking at your fixtures, I can't see a matchup with Longy, for example.
I find this somewhat annoying to say the least, but not sure I can do anything about this now. Pre-season, I think I did have the option of generating fixtures manually, but assumed that the site could do a competent job. Clearly I was wrong!
TBH I am a a good second fav against Longy so that might be bit of run good.
FOR INFO:
I've reviewed everyone's original fixtures and discovered that the only missing divisional games from the list were Bobby1 vs Longy and B Sides vs Arkansas.
Consequently, I've now amended the Week 8 fixtures (which was the only gameweek availabe where I could fix both of these in one go) so that these missing fixtures now take place in those weeks. I had to move some other teams around in that week to ensure that this didn't create any duplicate matchups where two teams would face each other twice in a season. Consequently, the following teams have also had a change of opponent that week:
Stapleton Atheists
Tifosi Blackhearts
Johnny Football's Autograph
MANAGER RETIRED
Vegas Venoms
Robbie's Gould en Shower
This means that the tie-breakers can now work as planned, if required, with the first decider being H2H result and the 2nd total points scored as everyone now has their full quota of 3 divisional games.

I'm currently projected 764 points next week. I think there might be a glitch in the matrix

That feels about the total points I will get this season.

The cowboys defence are predicted 706 points this week. That's going to take more sacks than Santa

According to the projections, it could be a disaster for Vegas Venoms with Arkansas Gravediggers favored to win by the largest margin in the league at 644.12 points

The offence might score 706 against the eagles, but monte kiffin's defence against a chip kelly offence last time round ended up conceding 62 points.

Marshawn Lynch anyone?
Looking to downgrade at RB and get a good WR for the main man.
