deffo Rich and I am hoping Quick is a keeper in my Dynasty team, it's almost impossible to do a perfect 50/50 trade but its a league that should rely on trades to fill gaps when injuries bite or you aren't happy with your team. 2fer1's is a good way to balance up squads, looks a well played on both sides to me.

What the actual fuck?

Broncos wait until week 5 to cut Prater?

If they were going to cut him, why didn't they do it as soon as the POS got the suspension?

Wasted a place on my bench, would have kept Knile Davis if the Broncos had cut Prater and would be 3-1 instead of 1-3

Cant see it being very long before he shows up somewhere else. One of the best kickers in the league.

As for why they waited - if McManus had been a bust he wouldnt have been cut.

MANAGER RETIRED really should consider retiring before he's fired after last night's abject performance.

JFA beat him using only 2 players!

Bengals cost us this weekend, as Adam's team had the Pats kicker...

is it possible to get in the playoffs from 1-5 looks like tough week again for me next week with charles and brees on a bye

good news is that atleast i can fit in some of this weeks top performers that i had on the bench this week

ridley my 3rd biggest point scorer in squad but i had him on bench
wright my 2nd biggest scorer of the week but i benched him after poor start to season
oliver 1st biggest points scorer top 3 of all players on the week but i left him on the bench as he was only my 2nd waiver pick last week which meant no one else though he was gonna do much as we were all desperate for RBs and no one had him as a waiver pick up

roll on next season i am already excited about it and going to just try my best to get a 50:50 ratio to end this season with now

It's really difficult to judge who's going to have those games each week. Sometimes, a lesser player gets more snaps because the team is miles behind (or miles ahead) and they're resting the top guys. Sometimes, it's an injury to the main guy. Sometimes, it's just the offensive coordinator and quarterback trying something different.

Justin Hunter has struggled all season but remembered how to catch a ball on Sunday. No good on my bench Cheesy

what is our waiver system? Dont think ive had higher than the 11th waiver yet

after the initial week (random) if you don't use a waiver pick you climb up the list of priority, depending on how many of those above you have used their waiver position

there are two approaches

a) try not to use a waiver until you are 1,2,3 on priority and then use it wisely on a can't miss waiver prospect that breaks through

or

b) constantly try to churn the bottom of your roster, and stream positions like defense, on a weekly basis

my preference in this league is b). try to look a few weeks ahead, try to plan for what happens if one of your undroppables is injured and rotate a lot looking for diamonds in the rough

the option c) draft or acquire cheap and then try to trade on when they have performed (buy low, sell high) is not possible in this league because people are too savvy. Ironside apart.

As is trying to get underperforming players off managers ahead of a turn round

waiver wire is difficult in a 16 man league where for example, the "waiver wire gurus" would have you all over andre williams, branden oliver etc this week but they are already stashed on league rosters here

i only picked up oliver last week after reading a tip on him as a rookie to watch, couldnt believe i got him as my 2nd waiver of the week
cant believe i have missed his big point score week though i'll be lucky if he scores 30points now till the end of the league

picking up Oliver was brilliant. exactly option b) above..low risk waiver wire pick up ahead of him breaking through

if you can have 1 or 2 of those a season it makes a big difference

i wouldn't worry about missing the first week, that would have taken mystic meg foresight.

play him this week and ride his hot run

matthews isn't back for a few weeks, woodhead is on IR and Brown underwhelmed hence oliver got his chance so Oliver should get 15-20 touches on sunday and even better its against Oakland
