When will everyone drop who they want and pick up the Rookies. Do we get the option to pick up the debris?

when everyone has finished drafting, only bobby1 remains then the commissioners will reset the league draws. Then open up for a period of 48 hours or so where we can pick up free agents from the pool. Not sure what the waiver order is, maybe same as draft order

Once that completes we are good to go for the season.

ok looks like we have space for one new manager in this years redraft league

Not finished as yet, I want to pick up another player. I''d sent out two trade convo's via PM on Tuesday to create a space and got both replies late last night, one had been missed in between PM's and the other guy is moving house so just one of those things. As such it makes abs no sense for me to pass now when I  have over 1/2 my squad potentially playing in week 3 pre season games.

Otherwise waiting 3-4 days to pick to get the other side of Preseason 3 is just gaming the process and giving a small edge (in theory) , that edge being the player you are waiting to pick would be in the FA pool. correct, as in every other pick that's been made. I doubt you select Darwin Thompson without him playing well in pre season games, I took Preston Williams, Jakobi Myers was selected after good pre season matches. Its the reason people were taking most of their allotted time to make selections when pre season games were being played, because there is no point in selecting Darwin Thompson if he is playing that evening when you can wait to see if he's made it to the following morning without getting injured.

For some reason everyone has decided to state they aren't picking anymore which seems a bit daft tbh becasue as Tal has found out he's selected a player in the draft who is likely to be on season long IR now and because he has passed he cannot now pick up a replacement and drop the guy that's injured. Its the tooing and frowing of having a draft take place when pre season games are being played. I'm doing exactly what everyone else did, its just that I'm the only person left to pick.

If the trade offers get replied to on Tuesday or Weds then I would have either drafted someone then or not drafted someone if they were not accepted. Because they were replied to last night and pre season games were being played last night it makes no sense for me to pick or pass now.

Its not my intention to sit it out until the week of the season because technically I will be on the clock until then, it's just fallen to me for a couple of reasons that it doesn't make sense for me to leave myself at a  disadvantage when we've all used pre season form to make selections/avoid/drop players because of injuries.

Understand all that. Still irrelevant, the draft finished 12 hours after the last pick when no further pick was made by the last person left unfinished as far as I see it.

Why would you think that?

If someone doesn't make a pick in that timeslot they can make the pick at any time after that but other people are free to select when it comes to them, so it keeps coming to me even if I don't pick with my 6th round pick. Same as everyone else I don't need to announce I am finished until I am, so there is no time scale for me to have missed. I let Tal know I was still intending to pick on Tuesday but it probably depended on trade offers I had sent out. It just happens to have taken a while for those to be responded to.

I might wait until 2morrow and still not pick for the same reasons everyone else can wait until that evenings games have taken place and act on those.
