Currently sat in work but am leaving in about an hour to drive up to DTD for the Grand Prix.

Not really puntering on much today as got a few sweats on the golf with my book currently looking like

T.Woods  + £1250  (topped up a bit yday before 2nd round)
A.Scott + £350 backed before 2nd round as a cover shot

The Field - £500
So hopefully Snedeker drops back a bit today and give me a chance to get some more of Scott in the book if it's close between him and Tiger.

^^^
Well that was pretty brutal and was watching Scott's demise over the weekend whilst at DTD in the Grand Prix and having bust on saturday night getting back to Essex at 2am to be up at 8am and in the office at 9.30 for 3 hours before making a late swerve decision to go back up the M1 and have another stab at making Day2 whilst listening to a motor racing bet of Hamilton to beat Webber (cue fail at first corner) and the early stages of the golf.

I was quite satisfied with my position going into the back nine of the golf but unfortunately whilst I was accumulating chips at DTD Mr Scott was decreasing my nett worth by a few hundred and I had to feel sorry for the guy but also a feeling of good sport with how he took the defeat.

The Grand Prix itself was pretty good and I held in some good spots and got 2 people to gift me a lot of chips to give me a decent stack going into the last level where I just selected the players who were locking up for the day and increased my stack by about 20% in the last 30mins to bag up 240'000 to return with on Saturday.

So it was back down the M1 getting back at 4.30am and exactly 2hours and 30mins later we were up and getting ready for work  Sad   my assistant branch manager has been off for 10days on hols so since Monday the 16th I have not had a day off and been in the office every day as well as my jaunts up north but it's all good as we are uber busy and going to have a corker of a month so much kudos to the boys for their hard work!!

Then on Monday night the realisation that Petra and Max were returning on Weds night to Luton and I had not yet started the list of jobs she had left me with so straight after work and a lack of sleep I donned my painting gear and did
The Glossing required in Bed1
The touch up jobs in the bathroom

Then after work Tuesday did
The second coat of glossing
Primed 5 mahooosive mdf panels that are being made into sliding wardrobes by the chippy for the bedroom
Tidie the house from top to bottom
Washing and Ironing
and promised myself I would not do this again, until next time obv's

Then Weds night came and after work it was a drive round to Luton to pick them up which was so nice to see them after 10days away and see how much the wi man has changed even in that short time.

Here he is collapsed on the bed after carrying him upstairs waiting to put his Pj's on and get in his cot

Their first day back was yesterday and what a day weather wise, the seafront was rammed and I found out even Dubai had come across to the coast with half of Romford but whilst they were busy having a burgewr and chips on the pier he was in a fish restaurant no doubt having some Crab with a drop of vino!!

Really looking forward to this weekend and hope to run good, play well and have a deep run in the penultimate event on my stake!
