Good stuff mate, where is your next live adventure?
Oioi Mr P, cheers.

Well funny you should say that as I am just working out a small schedule of liveaments most likely including Deepstack, Ukipt London and GPS Edinburgh but need the final pass out from "wifey" first.

How is Hungary? and obv grats on the recent binks

Yeah great, back in a few days though. Still trying to decide whether to move out here long term and if so when. Might see you about at one of the above. Edinburgh is a bit of a trek though! Cheers mate made Budapest a lot of fun.

Ahhhh thought you were going to be out there for a goodly while.

I love Edinburgh just trying to convince Petra that a few days up north will be good Wink

Yeah it was going to be until the end of wcoop originally but Pads is flying back and his gf  is here and I kinda left my uni housemate hanging as we were supposed to be moving to Leeds around this time anyway. Probably going to hang around the UK until after Xmas then come back for a year. Soso much fun. Hows sky going? I might be in Essex shortly seeing a few mates if you fancy a beer?
Yh Coolio let me know when you are around and will hook up.

THE LAST WEEK AND ONWARDS

Wow this is going to be really big TL;DR but meh.

Last Friday I had to take Petra's folks back to Victoria Coach station so they could get their 24 hours coach back to Slovakia (Petra's mum cannot fly due to a balance problem in her ear so this is the only way for them to get to us) so me and Max went on the tube with them into London and having said goodbye and got on the train to come back there was a man with 3 kids a couple of seats away and the kids are running amok up and down the train and people are getting agitated and eventually someone speaks up and ask's him to control his kids but he sat there completely non-compas until someone asked him again to which he replied he was sorry but he had just come straight from the hospital where he had been given some really bad news about his wife. I really felt for the guy but what can you do and this made think how lucky we are sometimes and also how much I miss my Dad and wish he was here to see the kids growing up especially as he would have been a fantastic Grandad.

Sunday bought day 2 of the deepstack and I had qualified for £15 and bought a stack of 61200 (20bbs) so felt obliged to try one merge but that didnt end well having 3bet pre k8ss bet flop and jammed turn on 255 5 to get called and looked up by "The Goulder" J2 so having seen a guy open to 12k at 15/3000 from 140k and I have 88 in the BB I ship very first hand thinking it could be a quick visit but hold vs A10dd on KJ9 74 but having chipped upto 285k I really went for the bubble as the payout is soooo flat but lost vs shorties and ending busting in 48th for a min cash of £300.

Whilst driving up I had read the Racing Post and my only bet of the day was literally ALL IN on Barcelona to beat Valencia last night at 1.61 on the machine with Dubai and my betting accounts at 3/5 and 8/13 so ended up with £900 so to see Barca go 3-0 up was great but then this happened (see full goals) so it was a sweat to the end but had decided to get my betting boots on as it is not often you get that kind of price for Barca and I had it a bit shorter in my eyes.

I regged the Super 50 turbo and ended up busting that in 13th with 8 paid so then decided it was a good enough time to set off home and as I was pretty tired I stopped at Newport Pagnall services for a cat nap and a coffee and set about the rest of the way home and was 15mins from home when just after the Wickford turning on the A127 after going over the brow of a hill I was stopped by an accident that had just happened (was 3 cars back) and within minutes the place was swarming with Ambulance and Police and we were held in our cars for 1 hour before being allowed to turn around and go the wrong way along the dual carriageway to the junction  but not before the policeman had told me it was a pedestrian when I asked if it was a motor cycle accident as the was someone on the floor as I got to the scene and I thought wow how sad.

So either someone has tried to cross a dual carriageway at 2.15am and been hit or thrown themselves in front of an oncoming car and I felt really sorry for the driver as what can you do and what would make someone decide that was the way to do it. All pretty sad really!

Whilst sat in the car I started to read a magazine that Petra had left in the car as there was nothing else to read and found this pretty inspiring story of a young girl hit with cancer  http://lauralouiseandhernaughtydisease.blogspot.co.uk/p/my-story.html which again brought it back about my Dad and that he would be proud of some things I had done since he passed and not so proud of others and on my daily drive to work at 8am having got in eventually at 3.45am and Max getting up at 6 I "docked my theoretical cap" to him at his tree on the seafront where we scattered some of his ashes 4 years ago.

The drive this morning was pretty surreal as I was in a philosophical mood about all the people I see on the route to work as I often travel at the same time give or take a couple of minutes along the seafront.
The people I see daily are

2 retired gentlemen who sit having a coffee having cycled from wherever at the same cafe overlooking the see then
A guy who checks all the parking meters on the seafront looking for an odd bit of change someone has left in there, I know he walks the length as I see him somewhere along the 5 mile walk then
A guy on his way to work who always wears the same shirt but different colour
A chap putting out the tables at his seafront cafe to start the day off before I see the
Dog walker with 2 westies and finally the couple walking to work together

I wonder about their lives what they think of me as we often exchange glances and do they think "there is suit guy in his golf on his way to work....

Oh and finally I am selling a package of events on the staking board and there is only 12.5% left so get me while you can  http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=62129.0

Good to see you last night Rich, I love your reflections as heading for work, puts reflections into the real world. managed to hold my own versus Frankie but should have stacked him, then a super aggro Pro footy player came to the table, really nice guy, I went missing for an hour then scooped 3 big pots at 2.30am, did I say I was leaving at Midnight???

Sup buddy, enjoyed our game last night! Just wondering where you play on sky, i've started occasionally showing up at some of the low stakes cash tables (5/10p etc) to try and get myself back involved in the online poker world, and I seem to remember that you play on there too? Also, the DOWNSWINGS of property and poker? Shouldn't it be the UPSWINGS? Everyone's so negative these days lol Wink

Oioi  how did the last longer bet go with Belton?

"Downswings" was Goulders idea  Wink  think he thought it was a downswing after he didnt win his second monte.

It was going very well, until we lost a big hand on the final table bubble (guy had three outs, Sean called it in obvs as I was now sitting next to him, cue girly scream when it came). We are left with about 6bbs, We make a final table which coincidentally is also the pure bubble, at which point Sean again calls in the bad beat for me and I get drawn straight into the BB and bust first hand where apparently the maths says I should shove any two :p So Sean won the comp and, more importantly, the last longer. Disaster Wink
