Hi all, finally managed to win my way into the Luton £1070 main event later today after spending at least £36k on sats.

Here's my hendon mob profile.

http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=49787

I'll be playing in the 12pm flight which having spoken around seems to be the softest choice.

Anyway to try and recoup some of the wastage in the numerous sats i'm selling up to 45% of my action in the competition.

Here is my last staking thread put up only this week, that provided no returns due to being pwnd by limp peelers. Thread details my online names etc.

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=54675.0

However i feel more confident in my ability to deal with such vicious foes after gaining valuable experience during my week in luton with the cod types.

I'm going to sell at a rate of 1.1215. Again coming down from my usual minimum rate of 1.2, due to my 5/6 staking thread failures to bink and my willingness to amend for afore mentioned non binkages.

Minimum 5% chunks available at £60

10%=£120

45%=£540

Bank transfers preferred but stars to username dreamfinder also acceptable.

I'll be leaving the hotel at 11.15am for breakfast, so i'll be hopefully finalising all this before that time, so post in thread if you'd like a piece, altho obv will need payments b4 comp starts-less i know you well.

Pm for bank details/post your percentage wanted in thread and how you'd like to pay.

Really feel a bink coming on, i actually won 2 flips tonight!

Cheers peeps,

Dom.

45% Available.

10% Tikay

10% Privately sold

5% Privately sold

20% Unsold
=wiiiiiiiiiii-all the more for me to enjoy.

Apologies for late selling, but was a late sat in job.

Coming back on day 2 with 12.5k-12.5bbs.

Started off like a steam train b4 stalling to a rather stationary pace after mr sickdog aikenhead got moved to my left.

Still one double up tmrw will sort all that out. I'll report on tournament as a whole once it's won.

Managed to miss this one. Would've had a little piece if I'd spotted it.

Well done in the £250 Smiley

You can have 50% of mine, I'll give you a discount.

Can't believe he messed up the Main (had a super soft starting table, too) & then went & won the jobbie which he did not sell action in. Outrageous.

Luton Gukpt Main Event report.

Satted into this late on thursday night/fri morning, at 3am on bubble some poor guy got a 2 hand penalty and as he only held 1bb it was gg, decided to play the 12pm flight as i obv don't like sleep.

Waking up saturday morning i realised i'd run out of clothes that didn't smell rather cheesy so i decided to pop along to the mall and load up on such items b4 the poker and have a belated breakfast.

Being a bit of a bird when its comes to shopping i discarded a couple of shops b4 deciding i'd found a winner in jjb sports-classy.

A half freezing sausage roll and coca cola later i was on my way to the casino.

My table housed ali malu on my immediate left and a few randoms i didn't know, i was reas happy tbh.

Didn't take long for ali to get jiggy and by level 2 we had a car crash.

About 3 peeps limped and i was on the button, ali tried to call from the small blind and having already seen the bullets i thought wiiiiiiii.

Ali was informed the 100 call would stand regardless, so there was like 500 in the pot. I bumped it up to 550 or so, and ummm every1 called-oops. Larger in future ftw-looks weaker too i'd say.

Flop came 1095 rainbow and it was checked to me, i bet about a third of the pot and ali immediately check raised to 2k from a 10k stack. Easily covering i jam he snaps and his 93 misses, wiiiiiiii.

Obv that early on it's a tricky spot on such a dry board v a random/certain type of plyr, but v mr atc i think fistpump wld be underestimating my jammage, i guess peeling is more optimal-instinct was he wasn't folding after pre action.

So now near 30k it's gg table and helllllllo chips baby.

Wrong as first nick gibson pops along and then stu rutter and james aikenhead.

Yeah the table just got a little tougher, especially with the sick1 taking ali's seat, 3bet time galore obv.

So i obv should now adjust, adapt and prob pick on the weaker spots on the table now a very good player has immediate position yeah?

Nah i'll call on the btn with a moderate hand to a stu oop raise and 4b james' clear 'squeeze' b4 meekly folding to his jam.

Then i'll 4b him with 64 and show just 4 the crack.

I'll also rse peel oop with 77 v him 3 ways with a shortie b4 checking the raggament flop, check calling the overcard turn and fold to the jack river V ten high cos the bet was sick and he can't be bluffing right?

Eventually in the final 2 levels after deciding to tangle with other opponents i rsd pre with k2 std, bricked and 3 barreled a wet board where everything missed yet he didn't.

The table bar james was very passive after stu busted and i shlda just adjusted better, i learned a great deal.

My misteps v james and the 3brl disaster meant that from having 50bbs min all day i'd return on day 2 with just 12bbs.

That table seemed so juicy and i really felt a little ill after 3 hands when i busted with a10 v qq.

But i had learnt so much about stacks and spews etc-6 years on and i still no nottttttttthing.

I'd adjust better next time, oh and obv do a deal hu for 2nd in the 250.

Sorry tikay as report is prob more serious than com this time, ty 4 yr rungood when u railed a hand or 2 tho!

I cld mention on day 2 how again low on clothes i went in2 sports direct, had to change in the mall's disgustingly dirty toilet, while trying to work out how to play 12bbs.

But that's just sad.

Laters!

Dom

Report did not disappoint, Dom, thanks.

However, it failed to elaborate on this malarky whereby we purchased chunks of you in the Main & you fail epically, despite a soft table, but when owning 100% of your own action, you then proceed to smash (note the adjective - the kidz smash) the  £250 & pocket the best part of £5,000.

STEWARDS INQUIRY

PS - Please say this is not a true story!

Soz about the main buddy, was not to be, and obv 250 was far weaker. Unfort i do seem to run bad on staking threads. Or maybe that's run good when i don't sell....Smiley

The penalty is indeed a true story, i especially tried to fight for the guy, unfort common sense could not prevail, yes it was highly unlikely he'd have got a seat, but still would have been nice 4 him to have a chance.

Penalty came immediately after he'd lost a huge flip basically for the seat, understandably he insta mucked the next hand frustrated and unseeing me still with cards utg, i really did fight his corner too.
