This is my first hand analysis post, please be gentle!!

Tournament is a live casino £30 buy in, with 2 rebuys available (although this hand occurred past the rebuy point, so irrelevant anyway!)

Hero - Has most chips on table due to finding big hands at the right time (AA v KK, KK v JJ). Approx chip count at this point 30k.

Villian - Old Arab man who is moaning about anything and everything. From peoples bet sizes, about the speed of the dealer, about the breaks every 3 levels - you name it! He has approx 25k.

Blinds 800/1600.

Folds round to villan on button who limps. He likes to limp / call a lot!! Hero in SB with    calls, BB checks his option. (4800 in pot)

Flop      two spades, hero checks, BB checks, villan bets 5k. Hero calls, BB folds. (14800 in pot)

Turn  , hero checks, villan jams.

Probably depends on what I think his image is of me...but I can see a point for calling here since you flatted his flop bet...he could well have worse so I call.

His preflop play was very passive. Regardless of position, he would limp and then call a 4 or even sometimes 5 x BB raise. He would never raise preflop, at least not last night.

I did fold to his jam, I think he had the jack, and made two pair on the turn. It's either that or air, I feel.

Thanks for your opinion guys.

these loose-passive types tend to play their hands exactly for their value, bet big with big hands/with hands they think are very likely to be the best hand to protect and bet small when they aren't sure.

Fold me for, hate my life on the flop but prolly call and hope he slows down on the turn.

Like DM says if he's shown any signs of spazzy aggression before this changes.

and welcome to PHA - keep em coming !

Well I personally would Jam pre but i am a spewtard and even if were C/L we only have 20bigs as stated in the op, plus the villain probs folds A10/J here to a shove.

Dont really like the flat in this spot myself.

edit srry you asked for turn advice   as played its a fold from me.
