Is it just me, or was this hand played out really strangely?

Given that we don't know he has KK, should I have pushed more on the flop?

Or re-raising, which gives you chance to get away.

One pair is not a big enough hand to call for your whole stack in a NL cash game. Not even an overpair.

I'm assuming that he meant on the turn as that's where the raise occurred. But I had trips then.

If I bet the flop, and he went all-in, I'd have to pass on that flop.

Maybe I've read through the thread wrong. Soz.

I am pretty sure Donkey is saying that a reraise on the flop by you may have triggered an allin or a reraise at least from him and you would then have the opportunity to pass.

That's what I was trying to say....

Thanks Jezza

Maybe, but he did just flatcall my preflop raise, so he may be equally as sneaky if I reraise on the flop.

I certainly didn't think I was behind on the flop, nevermind the turn.
