Been playing pretty snug all night. 1-2 at dtd my stack is 1200. There's a limp utg folded to me on the button I make it 7 with kk and get 4 callers. Flop comes jjk and gets checked round. Turn is a 10 the sb leads for 15 bb folds utg calls as do I. River is a brick. Sb leads for 55 utg folds I make it 160 and to my surprise sb makes it 340 total. I tank for maybe 4 mins and raise to 800 . Leaving 400 behind he folds j10 face up. Would like opinions on my river size betting. Was gona make it 675-715 .

make it bigger pre, like £15 (three red chips preferably) I'd bet flop, but knowing the stack sizes of villains would help.

How did you ever manage to build a £2k stack playing such small ball pre and on the flop?

The reason you've not been able to stack him is because the pot's too small turn and river.

At some point you've got to get at least 200 bbs in the pot to stack one of them and 500 to get the biggest stack.

Making it £7 pre and flatting flop and turn is not a good way to achieve this.

You're trying to get about 480 big blinds in on the river. The only way that's going to happen is if he's got JJ.

Yeh scott I think you need to bump up you're raise sizes, it's not online, people will call 6x raises all the time. The MINIMUM i'm raising here is £10, and if utg is always limp/calling or you have ppl in the blinds who love to peel, can make it more like 15. So long as no1 is going to exploit it, you can make it 15 with KK and 8 with 98ss if you want.

You need to be building the pot. Flop is close, check back alright I guess. Turn is DEFINITELY a raise, make it £55.

By the river it's obv you have kings full but only cos the pot is so small it's taking like 5 click backs to get stacks in! I might jam river instead of making a small raise as played.

To sum up, BUILD the pot. Raise more pre, could bet flop, defo raise turn though.

All points taken on board. Looking back I should defo raise the turn. There wasn't that many raises to 15 that ppl were calling. It was 7-9 max really. Realised I played the hand fairly poor. Guess that's what an online reg does tho.

Turn is DEFINITELY a raise

Against anyone good turn probably isn't a raise but vs random fish its probably fine / good.

I probably just bet flop here and hope someone has a J rather than checking back
