So gig went ok I think - waiting for the tapes to go up on facebook then I can have a proper look at what they did and didn't laugh at. really tough room as it was a wine bar and people were there to have a night out and had not gone there to watch comedy. Baptism of fire but I think it was ok for a newbie. Surprised at things I thought they would laugh at but they didnt - seemed much funnier in my head. So I took the easy way out and swore which gets a laugh as its so unexpected from me (obv they dont know me). One bloke came up to me afterwards and said admiringly "You were really dirty up there" which goes to show that in Sutton saying fu%%ing is really hardcore. I put in a new bit about pubic hair which I think went down really well - well the girls at the front were creasing up - but they were completely slaughtered. Disappointed that the heckler decided to give me a wide berth - I had a killer line all ready for him. Another poll about A and O levels imminent - please vote and let me know what you think. Tnks |
