6 1/4 lb loss this week i want to be able to achieve my weight loss..... but not pile it back on after
so should i lose less.... eat a bit more so i can find a balance to stick to? or use will power after the 12/24 weeks.
in a way i think i would of preferred to have lost the 2 lb does this sound stupid?
That is standard for a first week. Because you have switched to healthier food it probably has a lower salt content so you will lose water from your body. I would say a couple of lbs is fluid loss, plus you are always lightest first thing in the morning. If you weight yourself at later today at a comparable time to last week I bet you will be 17st 2 or 3. it was same time as last week i just did not post cos of the big dinner then daveshoelace said i should so i posted! i know what your getting at tho !

Well done Lee, it is 100% to be expected to drop the biggest % in the first week, you may well have another couple of weeks like it before the average amount slows down so enjoy it, use it as momentum etc, and above all plan for the fact that it will slow down, you may have a week where you put a couple back on etc and make sure it doesnt distort your expectations and motivation in say 2 months time.

14st 13lbs 1/4
Bang on 6lbs loss, which means I have lost all my crimbo weight and about 1-2lbs off my 'normal weight'. Any other time a 6lb weight loss would be amazing for my size but crimbo distorts everything so I won't get over confident about it.
Happy enough though, lets do this fatties.

13st-11½lb.
So a 2½lb loss. Not great, but can't really grumble after my debauchery on Saturday. Still within my 2lb pw target.
Congrats to Lee, Dunk & Barry. Good going guys.

Scraped into double figures with a 10.4lbs loss. Mon and Tues weren't 100%, but Weds onwards I was on <1000 calories per day with x3 moderate gym sessions. Going to 1500 calories next week and plan to do x4 higher intensity gym sessions, hope to be close to the 23 stone mark. Keep up all the good work fatties. Click to see full-size image. |
Thats a sick loss Barry with your starting weight. vwp!! Gonna try and find one of those signature ticker counter things where you can put on short term goals.

Lee - the OP needs to be updated. My aim was actually to get under 14st on the target date, so my original target weight loss was closer to 19-20lbs (I said 15lbs prior to putting 5lbs on over crimbo)
