Today I weighed in at 17st 2lbs for a 1lb loss making a total of 18lbs. I am pleased with the loss but unhappy at some of my choices this week. I have always said if I want to eat something I will but feel that I made excuses to eat bad things due to a poor couple of days. I think this is very dangerous for me and I need to knock it on the head for long term success.
I went out for a family meal today, pub grub type place. I really wanted a mixed grill but knew it would be something I would regret after so I decided to go for chicken cooked three ways with rice. There were better options but I didn't want to have something I didn't fancy as it can then feel like your missing out.
This week I am going to focus more on exercise as its very important long term.
I aim to lose 3lb this week which I think is do'able but tough!
wish me luck!

Ok so an increase of 2lbs this week
Gotta get back on the horse and lose 3lbs or I owe £50 to charity. I've lost will power so need an incentive to get me back on track, if I don't get back on track right now there is a danger I may not not reach my final target as well which could get expensive.

Well done everyone after all the doom and gloom that was expected it's not too bad in the end
Woodsey hit the G&T or Vodka and diet if you want to get pissed and you'll be much better off for it as there are so many less calories
I had a lovely roast earlier and a bag of lindt mini eggs which were incred. Gonna have a couple Tesco finest burgers in a bit which aren't actually a cheat as they've plenty of protein in them and then my proper cheat dinner for supper later on
Already sorted tomorrow out, got some Sirloin in the fridge ready for Steak and Sweet Pot wedges along with some chicken breasts for a stir fry too
Loving those Vegas pics, can't wait to get out there and see if they're al liberal towards drink drivers in the Nugget as they are in the Palazzo

Good read so far guys. Best of luck.
I have a question for all you wight loss folks out there. Over the last few months, I have been getting teased a bit by friends and workmates about my weight. Since I was a kid, I could eat anything I wanted and not put on weight. I could eat takeaway every night and junk food in vast amounts and still weigh under 11 stonne. That is until I hit my 30s. Things have started to change and other people seem to have noticed rather than me looking in the mirror and getting a scare at what is looking back.
Today at work, I was getting teased as usual about being unfit. I offered to jump on the scales to prove I was just under 11 stonne. To my shock and disgust, I now weigh 13.2.......
It still hurts my eyes to read that number. I checked again when I got home and this time it as 13.4.
At what point does age catch up with you and play with your metabolism?
I used to be very fit and lean, now I feel like a different person at 32. I am going to start indoor rowing again tommorow and banning myself from takeaways. My big problem is eating about four takeaways a week for dinner.
This is how I came undone before, I was exercising but eating absolutely terribly and in turn piling it on. Dominos a couple times a week, KFC, Chinese and Indian. It's a bit of a joke that the Dominos people used to ask 'no cookies or ice cream?' when I called to order from my mobile
I'm only 31 and whilst never fit and lean whilst in the Navy I did play Rugby twice a week and 5a side the other 2 nights on board which kept me in good nick. I was also on the piss 3/4 nights a week and still managing not to balloon up like Jabba thanks to the exercise.
If you just cut the takeaways to one at the weekend for a treat and start preparing your own food or at least buying healthy meals like the M&S style ones Woodsey posted about earlier that will set you on the right track and over time you can gradually start to shift over to a more balance lifestyle. It's a habit thing and I find once I'm into a routine of eating well it's easy to follow. In the same vein once you're on a cycle of eating badly it's difficult to break away from.
Starting some exercise a few nights/days or w/e is obviously ideal and should see you kicking on in the right direction (I'm a 16stone fatty who would eat takeaways 7days a week if he could so feel free to discard ignore
)
Good luck with it all anyway and the biggest thing of all is wanting to do it which you obviously do
Thanks mate. I have started rowing every night, currently I am back at 15 minutes at a steady pace. My plan is to get to 30 mins then gradually build up the intensity. My takeaway habbit is mainly down to lack of time to cook healthly. I am very friendly with the Chinese takeaway owner, so he prepared veggie curries cooked in vegetable oil as I don't eat meat. I have got round this habbit by preparing a bunch of healthy meals on my day off work and freezing them. This way I am not relying on takeaway and I know everything that is put in my mouth is good for me. Curry for me always went hand in hand with a few coors lights, now I drink robertsons fruit juice which is my favorite drink anyway. Good luck.

Nice one and glad it's all on the right track.
HIIT is good for fat loss too as opposed to steady state and might be worth looking into. Warm up with a couple mins of whatever exercise then go flat out for 30/40 seconds followed by a steady pace for a minute or so and rinse repeat.
