So were like 10 off the money in the 50r, not too much history with the villain although he's been pretty active, and I know he is a reg. My open on the Sb is a bit smaller than norm because im trying to size it to get the 4bet jam through if he 3bets to like 6k ish and have more FE,
on the turn i figure all floats must bet, and all made hands must, he obv has some kind of showdown value. On the turn im just trying to let floats/worst pairs bet, then depending on his bet size c/c c/j more likely c/c turn c/c riv unless we improve.

Ew! Looks so much like a bubble shove I think I'm puke calling but I hate my life!

Has the villain shown any aggro tendencies?

Would he 3 bet kq pre (surely)

Pretty sure he bets his 2 pr hands on turn

Therefore all you lose to is a weird J which pot controlled turn and wanted to jam river? Kinda weird.

On balance of above I call

what a weird spot he's repping like completely nothing I wonder if he's just somehow binked like or 55 or something always feels like when people are doing this they've managed to find it ina  spot where they shouldn't have it...

this might not work in the tournament dynamic but once I'd taken the line of checking the turn I'd be check/calling the river always.

well once he checked back the turn i figure his hand is almost always has showdown value and that mine is beating it a load. I have to bet the river, it goes c/c too many times if i check, and i lose value

seems like a fold. He mite play 9J/TJ like this, also he might check back an 87/KQ some non % of the time.

As you probably c/f this flop when you brick completely it looks like you have Tx so often when you go cbet flop, check turn so its a bad spot for him to check back anything nutted on the turn. When your hand is so face up is it possible he's turning 9x into a bluff? 55 seems unlikely as he probably get this in pre. The only 2 pair combos he reps are 5x and how many of these is he calling preflop?

I probably just call it off, especially when this feels like pretty much the top of your range.

Also, I probably c/r flop most of the time with this hand here. Its a spot where I'd c/f a ton and c/r seems like the easiest way to stack worse Tx hands

Is pursuit of max value essential for you in this spot? You might lose about 6bb's of value which is obv even less effective bb's but you don't get tasked with this sort of decision. The specific dynamic of the hand at this point in comp make me think losing a few bb's in value isn't horrible.

the reason I want to c/call here is imo he MUST fold 9x's when we bet (if he's good) and he will feel he pretty much has to Vbet Tx and MIGHT even vbet A9 or K9 (these wouldn't be great Vbets imo) but certainly doesn't have to call every Tx.

***this is a tourney though + tourney regs love make stupid calls so he prolly would call K9 otr lol - im sure he shouldnt though***

He will think your range is "capped" on the turn but this is a bad assumption vs a thinking reg imo.

 Snapping this. Nice inducer.

Such a nice shipping spot with atc for villain bvb. Very very few regs are actually willing to call it off with marginal holdings in this spot.

Prefer to c/c tho.
