best hotel to stay at vegas? looking to be in or around the rio

If you want to be around the Rio, then I'd say Palms Place.

....or The Rio.

If he asked for most suitable, yes Wink

I actually quite like the Rio, and would have no qualms about staying there myself.

I was in this position last year around this time of year. Everything was expensive and it didn't look like there would be a sale. There was one in the middle of April. I just looked and I booked on the 18th April last year.

The schedule for the Wynn Summer Classic has been announced.

It is NLH only, but includes a Seniors Event.

The Binions schedule has been announced, at long last.

It does not seem to be on their website yet, but you can get it from the 2+2 thread link, here....

Where will it be held?

Please note, acceptable answers do not include:

"That room they had it in last year at the back of the casino, where you play on trestle tables in a filthy room with no WiFI, despite paying a grand for their main event at the home of poker"

Or

"The place they had it in the year before (Longhorn Room?) that was somehow even worse"

Wink

I would guess in the downstairs room.

That area upstairs must be a health hazard now, to be honest, it was in a terrible state of disrepair last time I was in there, 2 years ago.

Wifi at Binions? We live in hope.

In honesty, that's part of the charm of the place, is it not?
