Still some hotels slower than others to adjust, so reasonable prices can be still hunted. It won't take long for them to go even higher though, so it isn't a bad weekend to avoid. Unless you are playing the seniors event which I think is the same weekend.

Yeah same damn weekend,  clashing same as last year.

Bad news on the room rate.  Good news on the scenery.

Yes, just take some keys out with you, jangle them in the sunlight and the spaced out teenagers will worship you like a god.

It's a particularly bizarre time, even by Vegas standards.

I believe its deliberate as numbers for regular events would be down because most of the regs/pros are at EDC.

There are a few for 14th-21st at ~£300 for the week, on otel.com.

Am I correct in thinking that you hire a car, Duncan?

It's handy, as it means my drink driving goes mostly unnoticed Wink

What's the best way of organising a hotel for just over two weeks? A few places don't sell for 15 or more nights.

All other things (prices, sales etc) being equal, is it a case of contacting the hotel beforehand directly, the selling site, sorting it out at check-in  or something else?

If it's for WSOP mus be a common thing and contacting Hotel should sort it. Otherwise just make 2 bookings and tell them when you check in

From memory, Harrahs don't let you overlap with bookings, but it's easily enough to sort with a phone call.

I imagine it's the same with anywhere else that doesn't allow more than 14 nights.

Thanks, chaps.

No rush anyway. Will be waiting for prices to drop a little over the coming months.

I'm getting the rio on hotels.com for 1/7 to 9/7 from £650 to £601 today
Can't deceide wether to book this or go direct ? They were pretty mean with their comps last year compared to the nugget

If you find it cheaper with a third party, call them direct, and I'm pretty sure they'll price match.

I'm currently booked in at the Rio from the 5th, so see you there!

If you ever use hotels.com, make sure to sign up to quidco and book via their referral link.  You get between 8-12% cashback into your quidco account.

Plus you still gain the rewards nights on hotels.com, which is 1 free night for every 10 nights that you book thru them.
