An observation when booking.    Booked back in January for 17 nights in June through booking.com with the no payment taken till 24 hours before arrival sale deal they had..  Of course booked in sterling.  Price in pounds I have to pay has gone up 5 per cent since I booked due to decline of sterling!!

My Rush Tower room, which I booked on the 'Cyber Monday' deal, has gone up, but I've saved on the other 10 nights, because I booked direct with Expedia.

Hopefully we'll get a mini recovery to around 1.4 before June.

Anyone had any experience using Airbnb in Vegas? Some nice looking places at very decent prices near the Rio.

Flights from London best part of £1100 atm :/ Is there an easter sale on usually or something? Usually got it booked up by now...

Anyone paying > £1k gets to fail their 11+  BuyMiles bonus at the moment can get you from zero to a rewards seat for £600, then a further £200 in airport jizz for £800 total.  Less, for anyone already with air miles.  Anyone not in possession of a flying club account, pls let me refer you so I get free miles, ty!

As for AirBnB, technically there are lots of legal problems with short term private rentals in Clark County.  So you are on a bad footing from the get-go.  That said, there are lots of examples on other poker/travel forums of people getting a good experience.  With AirBnB and vbro, lots of listings for palms place/vdara/signature etc which are all fine for 1-2 person wsop type stays.

Oooh nice thanks. Can I run this by you before I go ahead to make sure I'm not being a whale.

Total price:
1 adult
miles 42,500
+ GBP 201.42

I have 25k miles already apparently, so I purchase 14,000 + 4,200 Bonus Miles (£225.00) = 43k total miles.

Total cost £426?

Yup.

If you had booked by 24th Feb, you only would have needed 29,750 miles but I don't suppose you wanted to hear that.... Tongue

Regardless, it is a comfortable saving.

Interesting spread this year, especially with a $10K seniors event as the biggest buy in comp on the schedule.

Eagerly awaiting Binions schedule in my effort to play as many non-holdem events as possible.

Decent few comps for me to light some money up in.

They said they're doing something, but I wouldn't hold my breath for Binions. Paul is now TD at the Aria cardroom, and I'm not sure who has replaced him.

As in, found a better deal elsewhere and want to price match?

I've never done it, but imagine you just call them and direct them to where you've found the deal.

Completed the form and sent it through to the email address as stated on the form, no response 72 hours later.
Just wondered if this was typical or I needed to get the big stick out!

Might have to ring or use social media. Never had a response from Vegas hotels via email
