thoughts on raising flop?
If he cbets too much on these textures (i.e. if we expect him to b/f these multiway) this seems like a pretty good play with these stacks. Particularly given we can clean up our outs vs the player behind and been in the middle in this hand just sucks. Our hand is almost too weak to call the flop with. Obviously it's way better with a green otf though, then we can b/c some turns.
He was unknown - not a reg.
Do you call or fold Rob?
This was the opinion of one of the guys who also plays in the same games:
[1/21/2012 2:49:56 AM] Stu: AKvsQQ doesn't flop set often coz he doesn't raise bet and call. Flats turn so maybe like 9T with spades. River he can bluff so often vs your check so I would call a lot with no read
[1/21/2012 2:50:31 AM] Stu: He would raise JT on turn so has to be drawing
[1/21/2012 2:51:00 AM] Greek: but he doesnt have enough to make me pass a straight
[1/21/2012 2:51:05 AM] Greek: 77 into 180
[1/21/2012 2:51:27 AM] Greek: and he cant call turn with just a fd
[1/21/2012 2:51:56 AM] Stu: Only hand u lose to imo is quad queens or 9TQ. Mate these donks might think trip queens wins, also if he has no showdown and think u were just firing cuz phyne checked turn he can bluff slot still
[1/21/2012 2:52:36 AM] Stu: Think u win 1/3 enough to make this a call in long run vs no read
