One of the most successful poker players I know said this about this hand "he would've called him down with ace high, he just wants to be the hero all the time". Could you honestly disagree with that? I think it's spot on.

Also think his last post is correct. You don't want to win and make money. You want to be the hero of the hour. To have people eulogise over how good you are rather than make money.
Of course you think it's correct it was you who said it

Not at all - JB has reported that he has a satellite ticket from way back when the rules allowed you to win multiples and hang on to them, and I was sure he'd said something recently about using it for this weekend.
I'm in no position to deliver rubs on the lad - he's abso crushing live cash at the moment, I played 3.5 hrs last night and courtesy of a flopped set rivered house on my already declared 'last hand' i played for a win rate of exactly zero/hr

its a horrible open, esp with me 'in the pot' and you know ill be more aggro than the others.
the turn barell is unfathomable and I thought you'd always have it because you wouldn't bluff in that spot.
I was wrong.
Not the first time in the last few weeks, won't be the last.
crushing online right now

the call is worse than the open. he has a very good read on you and gets you to fold the nuts on the turn, with all due respect he shouldn't be "worried" about you.

true story..
Not sure, I can take friday off if i need it, I have a 500 and nicola has sorted it so I can use it and get tourny credits for the rest.
So its a case of can I play it, could I win it... what time would that all require as I need to be at heathrow for 6pm Sunday.
If I'm correct the final table of the 300 would be finishing around 10/11pm sunday right?

Not knowingly.... he didn't think or expect anything in this spot. He just blindly decided to barell imo. After the hand he didn't react how i've seen him in the past when he had a plan.
I think he was tired like me and just put his head down and chips out there.. hoping i had A high or something
