minnesota expected to be -1 at kick off....
Really? Doesn't that make them an automatic bet now?

It's -9 now apparently! Could you imagine them playing premier league football in that? Even Balotelli would run around then.

apart from my peterson idea, did you have anything for either of tonight's games?
minnesota expected to be -1 at kick off....
What do you reckon to No Minnesota touchdown at 7/2 with Patrick Parr? Only got 7 points last time they played Seattle and Bridgwater is going to be tested heavily tonight. You'd rather Lynch was playing for that bet, perhaps, to enable Seattle to run down the clock.
I always look at tight ends against Seattle (their weakest area), although Kyle Rudolph is no more than a moderate pass catcher. When he does, it tends to be in the end zone. 14/1 first/last and 11/4 anytime touchdown scorer. It's free bet fodder but little more.
His line is 30 yards give or take tonight which is bang on his average for the season. Against an elite defense, no point at all betting the overs for value there.
Annoyed we didn't get a win with Miller last night. Game situation didn't help but still feel the red bookie made an error there.

Wimbledon fan...thoughts on Jake Reeves? Apparently he is on the Poshie radar.
Tottingham fans...David Pleat raving about Chris Forrester, will be another Dele Alli, but you can't have him till the summer ta.
Also, what did Mark Lawrenson just call Steven Pienaar?
We (Brentford) released him a couple of years back. Not good enough for league 1. Very average midfielder who is neat and tidy but not incisive enough going forward and not strong enough or disciplined enough defending.
thing he has improved a touch tbf
Agree though a safe player would not be near your first x1 what i have seen
Okies, ta. We really don't need a midfielder tbf, any of our current crop would walk into most Champo clubs. He's only 22, though, and sounds like he's found a burst of improvement.
He's definitely better than that assessment, but he did have injury problems while at Brentford. In a good run of form at the mo. Read a rumour on Twitter yesterday that we'd turned down an offer from Peterborough for him. Think it would be better all round if he stayed put - we need him more than you do!

Longest field goal team in the Seattle @ Minnesota ChillyBowl
Two of the best kickers in the league are on display tonight in Seattle's Stephen Hauschka and Minnesota's Blair Walsh.
Here are their stats:
http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/kicking/sort/longFieldGoalMade/seasontype/2
They've had a 54 yard kick each but Walsh has had notably more field goals this season, borne partly of a less dynamic offense and fewer options in the passing game. In a game predicted to have 40 points, field goals will matter and big kicks from distance are likely.
I'd rather be on the guy who is more used to these conditions and has had more kicks this season.
The bookies disagree, making Seattle's Hauschka 20/23 best favourite. We can get even money (shouty red man) on Walsh (20/21 with BMU)
http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/seattle-seahawks-at-minnesota-vikings/to-score-longest-field-goal
Seems to me to be at worst a flip. Danger is Seattle get ahead and consolidate but they're only 4 point favourites.
Recommend £30 on Minnesota longest field goal with whoever we can get that much on with.

While you are looking in a few minutes, Stan Jimmy has a market on the longest field goal being 44.5 yards over/under. With such cold weather, that's logical but a team may well have to try from further out.
30 degrees of temperature roughly equates to 5 yards of distance (the ball travels less far in denser, colder air)

What's the stadium like for kicking distances?

Yes.
Any idea what a normal long kick would be at Minnesota? Just trying to work backwards.

Have just checked. He says the line is fair so let's not play that then.
