I got no mentions in Seagull's tomb? Ffs.

Been meaning to order that, and just have. Ordered Nevison's book too. If it's written anything like he speaks in his McCririck role on RUK, 80%+ of the words will be 'errr'.

Might have to change my poker heroes. One now has a proper job and the TV work has dried up for the other. Things move on.

My players to watch remain the same though, keep an eye on Dean Morris, this kid is gonna win the WSOP Main in the summer and I've got a %.

Been reading "The Secrets of Pricewise".

Certainly not the best book I've ever read, but not quite the worst, either. Really, it's an advertorial for the Racing Post.

It has sections on all three of the "Pricewise" authors, starting with Mark Coton, then Mel Collier, & finally, the incumbent, Tom Segal. It was Tom who had that famous sequence of 11 in a row, back in 2005.

Was quite interested to see numerous references to, & photos of, the various "Spotlight" writers, & was hoping to see reference to Chompy. Not a word, though to be fair, they just cherry-picked the best ones.

For balance, because we love the Dancing Saveloy, a google search revealed this tweet (genuine).

@Martinlarious Best Spotlight ever was Graham Wheldon's re: Vicky Pollard - 'Yeah but no but needs to improve'. Can't believe it got through

Gawk knows what it was all about, or when, though. Off to google "Vicky Pollard" now.

Ha! I think I hold the record for most complaints from trainers and jockeys. Stef Liddiard went nuts on TV once over my comment about Coconut Squeak's Listed win looking more and more like a fluke as time went by.

Was a fluke though. Subsequent close-up efforts in Group 3 company prove nothing...

No mention yet, no, & I'm half way through.

Serious question, has Kev got a job? Doing what?

Meanwhile, Sky Sports 4 tonight is the place, me and a boxer chap, Spencer Oliver. And Chat A Lot Channing. And Anna. Spoilt for choice, or what?

Not sure. I've seen mention of proper work on Facebook. Not seen him in ages. Neil would know.

Caulker on loan to Liverpool

Oh dear

What happened this guy? I thought when he first arrived on the scene, he was going to go on to be top class. It just hasn't wroked out that for whatever reason?

Never that good imo

A showy defender who stood out as he scored a few goals and his pace got him out of lots of trouble

didnt make the bench most weeks for the saints
was way down the pecking order

Hasn't he been on already?

When's the next Strictly contestant on?

I'd be really interested so see the Selby v O Sullivan odds. Surely Selby has got to be favourite for this match and anything else would be just sentiment? Not that I think Ronnie is a bad player, but he just hasn't played at all. Isn't he being priced on popularity and results in previous years rather than where he is today. Or is he just that much better than everyone else that he can just show up and have a good chance to win against the other best players in the game?
