7.43 Crayford, Soviet Kenny 7/2 - in good form from the boxes just found the 714 trip too far. 540m tonight much more gettable for the dog and hoping to lead the pack tonight, suggest £30 @ 7/2.

this was a weird restriction

Soviet Kenny Crayford 19:43 Winner

Last one at Crayford (also looking at Towcester for RPGTV shortly)

8.33 Farneys Cookie - 6/1 . Draw not as bad as first seems and is a very hit or miss type of dog. Think Omm used to put this dog up a bit now and again, tonight it's got a decent chance and is overpriced imo. £15 @ 6/1

who wins this, with the shape of the race so changed?

rule out the last five, and there is some e/w stuff to do?

Not with the only bookie going fifth first 3.  Can't see what shortens in that market between now and the day.

Would love to see Annie Power run.  Would like to know if the big prices we took a couple of years ago were great bets.  Neil has been a big fan of The New One, but that was at 20/1 in a prospective small field.  Can't be as enthusiastic at 7/1.

You going to Neil's do on the 12th?

Sky Dogs tonight

7.11 Crayford, Ribble Aon - class above and looks destined to lead, can't see anything that could possibly catch her when she gets infront of this field. 6/4 with William Hills is worth £60 at the price.

Boom.

Nice start to the night Matty.

4 dog showed a bit of pace to make us sweat but we were by far the best bitch in the field and showed it. Let's hope for another two at better prices too Smiley

I would be very disappointed if The New One was good enough. Place, fine, but it has suddenly become a poor CH if he were to be good enough, especially when he has been all out to beat horses like Rayvin Black. Sad thing is it is now cutting up so bad I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

Justice for some of us would be a Tent victory, but if seems like the stars are aligning for AP.

Are there any others, not in the betting, that could be supplemented, which may ruffle a few feathers?

Last, sadly.

Got checked on one bend but I don't think it was ever getting there.

Peace and co, top notch the value? 20s about two horses who if they repeat the way they finished off at chelts last year have to be contenders in a very poor CH. Top Notch barely got beat off identity thief at newcastle, just cant have the disparity in prices. His only bad run was over 20f. Peace and co may have some issue but hopeful we see a proper CH gallop, he will settle. Hes the only horse in the race that could yet be a star.

I am paraphrasing a bit but Neil's view was based on the premise that Faugheen scared everything else off leaving a v small field whilst getting 5/1 The New One to get in the top 3 or Faugheen to tip over.   Think that was the reasoning, but it was months ago and I could be mixing in my ideas too.
