Morning Tighty.

A couple of days ago Tiger, Mr T's netball corry, put in an appearance and as good as put a recommendation for St Helens to beat Leeds tonight. The price has drifted since then and they are 5/4 on betfair. Leeds have McGuire back but their problems are deeper than just him. Last nights win for Widnes at Wigan exemplifies Leeds poor form, we had them to lose by less than 13 to Wigan but they got mullered and it should have been more.

Put the bet down to me if you like, but maybe with a bit of coaxing we can get Tiger to come and play with us.

By the way John Isner lost to Nishikori in the last 16 in a 3rd set tie break.

Hi hector,

As Tighty noted, we are on St Helens +2, down to tiger, as it was his first (official) Recommend.

tiger, I might add, lives in Leeds & is an avid Leeds supporter. (Football & RL, poor lad).

He's currently on holiday, in Dublin, with a bunch of lads, just generally boozing & having the craic, & he's not been sober since Tuesday. What a life.

No need to repeat the bet, but I do prefer the outright price now that it's 5/4. Instead lets have a dabble on Newcastle to win away at Bath tonight in the Union jobbie. I can't have Bath at 1/4 against anybody on this seasons form. Newcastle have beaten Leicester, Newcastle, Harlequins and Bath since Xmas, admittedly all at home, but they are a dogged side and can keep it tight make it a one score game with 20 mins to go, and sneak it.

Suggest £15 Newcastle @ 4/1 with coral or ladbrokes.

Cheltenham

1.30 Leoncavallo seems a big price on what he has achieved.  Suggest £20 e/w at 25/1 fred or tote (quarter first 3).  Beat betfair on win and place prices too!

2.10  Great Field has run once for Mullins and shows up here with Gearaghty up top.  I think that must make it a bet £25 e/w in loads of spots with 5 places (victor, fred, tote, coral).

the other I picked out is John Constable at 14/1, 5 places with victor only £20 e/w pls

2.50  I don't really like this as an each way race, but don't like the first two much at the prices, and Long Dog can be backed with Hills at 8/1 which is bang on betfair and you get the offer.  Suggest £25 Long Dog win only

3.30  Suggest £25 Hills Cue Card at 4/1.  It is the best horse in the race has had a breathing op and is smashing everything this year.  Don Cossack would have won the King George?  Seems a stretch to me.  Maybe it would, but more likely it wouldn't.  This year is Cue Card's year, and if it isn't we still get a free bet for 2nd!

Smad Place at 10/1 getting quarter first 3 is a bet because the place terms are so good.  Available lots of places.  suggest £20 e/w

4.10  Suggest £40 e/w on It came to pass.  Much younger than the rest, half brother to Lord Widermere, seems like it could be out of place in this race.  Get the 12/1 4 places with victor or lads if you can.

Biggest bet in the foxhunters, must be going mad.  Go Vicky P too, but pls don't bring us down!

that is it for now

I like Laurium in the Martin Pipe today. Should love the good ground and has decent form here when second to Penglai Pavilion. Unexposed and an enticing 25/1 with 5 places 1/4 for those with a Bet £3.65 account.

Any neigh-sayers?

£10 each way if not then, please.
