Do you expect S.A. to declare at some point and have a bowl at England tonight or will they bat on trying to put the game beyond the reach of England?

Conventional wisdom is that you declare, if you are not all out, leaving 10-12 overs tonight This gives you the new ball tonight, another crack with the new ball tomorrow morning and then a second new ball late tomorrow - hopefully against tailenders Leaving any declaration til tomorrow means you miss tonight's bite at the cherry This one is complicated by SA not needing to win to go World Number One, so no need to gamble it up and no need to even declare. Hence I would like to see them bowled out now Current Prices SA 10-11 Draw 15-8 Eng 6-1 I am tense. Thread is having a good month and this would cement it. A draw though wipes out a lot of the profit It's a sweat on some overcast conditions tomorrow and hopefully three cracks with the new ball

Going to let Tighty field that! How come I never saw or heard you at DTD on Friday? I looked out for you and assumed you had not showed up? I disappeared sharpish after exiting at about midnight, it was so painful to have to give that lucky so and so Matt Russell £20 for our L-L.

Having a sweat over a 'Fred' making money when you can just enjoy seeing if a very good England side can somehow magic a win against an extremely good Safa side Over and out Curmudge

I was there all evening and was chatting to Fraser for most of it. I saw you at the end of the first break as I was returning to my seat. You were stood with Neil Giblin and another tall guy possibly 30ish. He was on my table and I asked him if he was on blonde and he said no. He seemed quite new to live poker in the way he stacked his chips and made his bets. He 3 bet one hand and original raiser flats and checks the 886 flop. Original raiser check folds an over pair when the guy over bets the flop and showed quad 8's ? And by the way.....Nigel Adkins

Our man for today's 80/1 shot came in 8th in a mass sprint. Nice try! Tomorrows stage will be the first test for the main contenders. The finish in a lovely part of the Basque country.
