QPR to be relegated.......

We currently have £50 @ 8/5, QPR to be relegated.

They are now as short as 1/2, 4/9 in places, but Paddy Power are miles out of line at 4/6.

That seems like a MAX to me, but others may know better.

Thoughts please?

I reckon we missed a couple of good spots on the NFL, both Cleveland -4.5 and Baltimore +3 were good bets earlier in the week. I think I got a bit Fred gun shy after recent reverses, we´ve missed the boat on both of them now :-(. It´s a strange affect thread has, even for comparatively small sums of money.

Very strange, & interesting, indeed.

Fascinating, the psychology involved. Love it though.

Keep finding us the value, & we'll be just fine.

I watched that Raiders game on Thursday night, when Manning just destroyed them. Oucho.

IMO the best QB there has ever been. I was scratching my head for a lot of that game, trying to reconcile the fact that I knew we had placed a good bet with what I was watching unfold.

I'm a complete NFL newbie, but I thought he was spellbinding, an absolute delight to watch, & I ended up spending an hour researching his story. Amazing stuff.

I discussed his performance, & our Raiders bet, with a trusted & learned close friend, & he summed it up this way......

It didn't happen this time, I estimated we were giving away about 2 stone at the QB position before the game, I reckon it was like Arkle successfully trying to win one of those big handicaps and winning hard held in the end under 12 stone 10 when the rest of the field are out of the handicap.

How about that for a beautiful analogy?! (Though I guess only Methuselah Minor is old enough to remember Arkle).

He cost me a fortune this day but I love the guy. The control that he has, even in seemingly impossible situations really is something special.

Ooh, what a lovely read that is.

We should do more of these sporting stories, I love them to bits, & they mean far more than winning or losing any bet ever could.

Thank you.

anyone see a reason why Tranmere shouldnt be back at 11/10 (whill) at home against portsmouth?

Top vs 20th.
Pompey not won in 7 (6l 1d)

Something seems wrong?

because they can't hold a lead

Thank-you

Excellent self-riposte!

At least I don't feel bad at missing that one.

Morning Mr T.

Clermont v Leinster today 4pm.

I am feeling incredibly nitty for some reason. Clermont haven't lost at home for over 2 years and it is hard to think that Leinster have the firepower to topple them but it will be close. It is a huge game as both sides are unbeaten in the Heineken cup so the pressure is on. I am very tempted to go for under 34 points at 15/8 but my nittiness is saying go safe. I think that the price for under 40.5 points is a 1-2 shot.

So £24 under 40.5 points @ 11/12 with Pinnacle.

P.S this is I believe only the 2nd ever odds on tip I have given.

Afternoon hector.

I would not describe you as nitty, as a rule you give us outsiders of two, that's not nitty!

Odds on & hector, though, is indeed a rarity. Congrats on the Exeter bet yesterday, by the bye.

I have cost you £2 worth of ROI, but we have £24 @ 5/6 with Bet Victor, UNDER 40.5 points.

I must say, under 35 @ 15/8 looks very tempting, but we have to go with what our RU oracle says.

ON

Clermont v Leinster
Under 40.5
(Total Points U/O)
Odds:  5/6
Stake:  24.00
Possible Return:  44.00

I did enjoy the Exeter bet as well. They are a real old fashioned rugby club and the odds setters are blindfolded to their ability.

As regards the under 35 points, well I like to have help from the weather to go really low and I do not fancy researching that today so nitty it is.

I have said it before but I do love those pictures you put up. I spent a good 5 minutes just looking at the oldie from the City derby match. The one in the middle looks like Frank Mclintock to me so I guess I will now have to research to see if he ever played for City.

How did all those xty-fold Championship BTS accas go yesterday?

I think bok-e-basher put them up initially, last I heard HoneyMadDegen was betting 99 lines or somesuch?!

The treble came in at 9-2 and out of 12 matches in the championship there
were only 3 teams which did not score. Plus there were 10 out of the 12 matches
over 2.5 goals.

Happy days but for how long ?

Betfred are pulling more and more championship matches off the bonus coupon.
My guess is that there will be a maximum of 4 on next week.

Bookie Bashers was up, i got 5/7 so it should be at least close to break even for Mr 99. I won 1.5x my stake so a good days work. Missed priority prices, about to ice cream my free bet on some sort of City related chunky win for fun, whilst settling down with a beer. Peejaytwo (rfq snr) was upset his cricbetlive stuff didn't receive much attention, especially with the significant price mishap. Good luck today with NFL/the draw etc

What a weird goal by Rooney!

Might actually be good for our bet though.

Looking at the first 15 minutes I think you're right.

I know there is nothing you can do now, but will this bet be valid for the promotion as it doesn't match the original 50 pound stake? Just a thought.
