Jezki was very impressive in today's grade1 novice's hurdle at Leopardstown today.

Still a standout 8/1 with badcrooks for the Supreme at Cheltenham in March.

I recommend fred has £20 on the schnozzle @ 8/1.

I think it was around 1967 when I first tried to back the winner of that race, & over the ensuing years, I had another 20 or 30 attempts, all of which failed.

Here we go again.........

We have £20 with Ladbrokes @ 8/1, Jezki to win the Supreme Novices Hurdle @ the Cheltenham Fessie.

Superb answers, chaps. Thank you for your patience Smiley

Speaking of three digit heroes, MvG has a fracture in one foot and has a stress injury in his Achilles in the other from overcompensating.

The injury is a blow no doubt, but the kid is made of the right stuff. It doesn't affect his throw so I don't think it will affect him too much. A lot of darts to be played though. A Painter win here would be nice.

Or for neither Lewis nor Painter to play well and have a long 4-3er.

Tighty
A fit MVG would easily beat Lewis at these championships if Lewis maintains his present form. Problem I can see is that MVG was noticably in more pain the longer the game went on. The matches are longer as you go deeper, so he could struggle. Though Painter may well beat Lewis anyway.

Re: staccato trebles, absolutely and a joy to watch. When you watch most of the players you can tell if they are going to get a 180 after the first/second treble just by the pace they throw and the groupings

I'm not sure if this is one for fred but I am on anyway.

Sir Des Champs looks a little too big to me @ 11/4 in the Lexus 'chase at Leopardstown tomorrow. I know that Flemenstar beat it last time but that was over an inadequate 2.5M trip for SDC and also it's first run of the season. Flemenstar has looked very impressive in it's two runs this winter and it's trainer is convinced that it will stay 3M+ but that has yet to be proved.

It might be worth an apple @ 11/4 if others agree.

Yes, let's see what others say Ralph.

What is your view on Tidal Bay in the same race?

Definitely got a chance on it's last run in the Hennessy but it's not the most consistent.

bit unfair on tidal bay

since he has been with a trainer he has been pretty consistent and considering he was trained by howard johnson for most of his career it is no surprise he was quirky

it is hard to forget how quirky he was and he certainly still has an awkward late challenge but conditions look ideal to me today

ground distance and a probable good pace to chase down

ground is a worry for sdc and trip a ? for flemenstar

Pretty much a complete plus one.

Whoever wins today you will find reasons to look back and say the price looked big but tbh the prices as they are look pretty much as they should. I would be tempted by one of those double bets on SDC to win today and Gold Cup if I could get over 12-1.
For today I would probably back TB ew as you can see him storming up that long run in

Daily Report as at 0920, Friday December 28th

There were no completed bets yesterday.

We bet £110 on an NFL game, due to take place in the early hours of Monday 31st, & placed some cash on the schnozzle of a horse at Leopardstown for Saturday.

Our 50/1 bet on MVG continues to entertain, what fun for a tenner, as our man limped into the semi-finals.

Morning Adz,

I assume you meant "TD ew"?

As there seems a fair degree of interest in this race (Lexus Chase), here is the market.
