FFS, boys!
Is there a ban system in place along the lines of not riding a horse all the way to the line when there's a chance of a win?

Nah, never got round to posting it. Equity Risk at Leicester.
Promising start, but feel you could have aftertimed way better. 9/1 chance won later and obvious forecast opportunities. I believe that you should spark up Amazon and get hold of copies of "Aftertiming like a boss" by BigAdz, or the harder to find "Choosing the winners of golf tournaments by using previous form and looking at the final leaderboard".
I believe both outsold "The effects of the draw" by around 5 copies.

6 copies of each were sold, then.

I really wouldn't mind, but all I did was mention wins on stuff that was mentioned on here in the first place, that were never taken up as TFT investments.
This plainly usurps my efforts as he talked it up, and was even on this morning.

PS - He teased ME about this "Bet of the Season" too. Then forgot to give it to me.
To be fair, he did give me - just me, not another soul on earth, as I'm a special mate - a cracking 6/1 shot in a
hot
Carlisle race, & I stuck my Vegas 'roll on it. It almost won, too.

All those books are a long way behind
I Hate Jacks: a Collection of Short Stories
.
Latest addition from a chap to my right at Gala (now G) Birmingham:
"Six ways to play 'em...and they all lose. All you can do is call and strap your crash helmet on"
I'm eternally fascinated by people and by my eternal fascination with people. If that makes sense.

Me too, makes no sense and perfect sense.
Tourneys are soft, full of bumbling idiots and satellite qualifiers, but we get beat and so we abuse them for being so bad. So bad they beat us......

Exactly. Everyone's an awful player. Especially the people who knock us out.

Can Swann still win? Now on 4 wickets. Is another 3 enough?

Swann has 8 in the match
Broad 11
Anderson 8
Finn 8
Swann 8
4 wickets to take
3 for a share of the win, 4 for the win
Long shot, but pleased to still have a shot
If the weather holds tomorrow, he'll have a chance to be on early on a fifth day pitch...

Broad out of the attack. Has to be good.

I'm not one for Britain's Got Talent myself, but my mum just came in wanting to bet on 2 sandwich makers who had been singing on the show. I got the odds up to see they're 2nd favourites at 7/1, so I wanted to see what they were up against that was so good @ 5/4 and was pretty amazed by what I saw!
Anyway, I had a look and told her to save her money. I think they're dead in the water and should be about 25/1 going on the video of the act which is favourite at present.
5/4
7/1
What does Chompy think?
