I gathered the market was new ("illiquid" - never sounds right to me, that word) but hadn't quite realised it was THAT new! Thank you for the steer.

I don't know much about these cult TV markets (even less than the very little I know about other markets!) so I was really just hoping to kindle a discussion on both the horses and the market.

If someone were to place a bet online and that bet was "referred to trader" and then accepted could they possibly come back later and try to say that it was a "palp"?

Just curious...

Don't think so, I would have thought it's on the trader who accepted the bet.

Morning Mr T.

Still no action in the fennel bed.

The CESM bet yesterday was a tad unlucky, they had the ball  in Widnes's 22 but messed up the drop goal attempt in the last minute. In tonight's game Huddersfield host St Helens. We have been opposing St Helens recently as they have had injuries and playing badly. Tonight they should have Wellens, Meli and Roby back but Huddersfield are playing well and with good weather and at home should have too much scoring power for St Helens. I thought the handicap would be 6-8  points but at the moment we can get on with just 4 points to make up.

Suggest £22 Huddersfield -4 @ 10/11 with Betvictor, Paddy or Coral.

Fire up the fennel.

Winner.

Ever thought of doubling Hector's stakes?

I just feel with his consistency and even if we double it we're still not risking a huge amount in comparison to our roll.

I think the other profitable tipsters bet sizes are slightly bigger but with Hector a double up could be the way to go.

Just a thought.

Got a few decently priced fancies for the upcoming Champions Trophy, I think the prices are big enough and we will get a good sweat for the duration of the tournament.

Top bowler:

Tim Southee @ 33s   £10 ew
Mohammed Irfan @ 33s £5 ew

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/champions-trophy/top-bowler

Both wicket taking bowlers and bowl the full allocation.

Top Batsman:

Hafeez @ 33s £10 ew

Opens for Pakistan and can gets decent totals once he's in.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/champions-trophy/top-batsman

Total stake £50

Laddies best priced on all my recommendations.

We should get a sweat!

Yes, often!

I discussed this with The Milkman, he gets a bit uncomfortable when the stakes get bigger, & that is the last thing I want.

I often have a little on the side, in addition to the Fred money, though.

I had a bet off-thread last week on one of hector's things, & it won nicely, so I wrote & thanked him, & I'm not even sure he approved of me betting as big as I did. It was "only" £50, too.

Daily Report

Profit on the Month £87.15

Outstanding Bets £1,016.25

A nice little profit yesterday, either £22 or £47, depending how the Auditors view these things.

The Milkman delivered a cracking RL bet which was never in doubt, & we took an easy £20 home. We also wrote back in £25 which, I think, we had wrongly accounted for last week, being the £25 Free Bet on "Mars" in the Derby. Mere will doubtless send me a stiff memo of correctitude if I am mistaken.

The dark days of April are well behind us now, May was a cracker, & June has started well. Mistress Variance is playing her wicked games again, then.

Impressive performance from Essex's Graham Napier last night, taking a seven-fer, including upsetting Ricky Ponting's timbers and following that up with 4 wickets in 4 balls.

He's not bad with the bat, either, on his day.

Think that was on Sky Sports, or something similar was, so I watched some re-runs of Supermarket Sweep, as I prefer something a little more challenging.

Blokes in pyjamas bish bash boshing, meh, Fred Trueman would be disgusted.
