Have any of the Scottish football guys got an opinion on why Motherwell are 10/11 at home to Partick on Saturday?

Afternoon Mr T.

Too much rain to count the oktas for you.

Murray is vulnerable today against Cilic at the Rotterdam ATP. He struggled yesterday against a qualifier and Cilic is an excellent indoors player. I was going to suggest Cilic to win the whole thing but that market is now down.

Suggest £20 Cilic to beat Murray @ 19/10 bwin

Fairly good argument that it's none of our business, but the German newspaper Bild is reporting that Michael Schumacher has overcome pneumonia, although remains in his coma. I suppose that's a drop of good news in an ocean of bad.

NBA AllStar weekend. I loved our MVP bet last year, 16-1 on Carmelo Anthony, was far too big and wasn't far off winning. He's in worse form this year, as are his team, yet he's 10-1 best, in places. Really annoying that such a good bet last year lost.

This year I'm looking beyond the top two in the book again for a bit of value. LeBron and Kevin Durrant are both in form and are rightly faves, but the MVP can easily come from beyond them, as it did last year. From memory, Chris Paul hit 2 or 3 threes in a row right at the start of the 4th, just as the voting was closing, which carried him home. Durrant is being coached by his own team coach, traditionally means he won't win as coach will not play him too much with an eye on upcoming fixtures. LeBron is being coached by his team's biggest rival, so guess that could mean he plays a lot.

I think u can put a line through a lot of them, some just don't do anything spectacular that will catch the eye of voters (ie they defend well, do fundamental things) and some are carrying injuries and won't play much. Some I like but not at the price, Steph Curry being one.

The three I'm left with are Blake Griffin (10-1) as my main pick, with cursory fivers or tenners on Anthony Davis (33-1) and Joe Johnson (80-1).

Griffin is playing better than ever, is the best dunker so will be doing loads of highlight plays that get the crowd excited, is playing with his normal point guard Chris Paul so they have the understanding and set plays, and looks great to me at that price. The other two are just priced too high, can't really see them winning but stranger things have happened.

Any views? Game is on Sunday night

I really like Steph Curry at 8/1 game is made for him to rain 3's

Irving 20/1 seems decent outsider

I think Lillard is a dec price at 6/1 in the 3pt shootout

Can we get on with betway? If so it was a bigger chunk EW on Scott Hogan for League 2 Golden Boot. Seaniemac have taken down their prices.

No, we don't have a Betway account, sorry. We seem to be destined to fail with his one. Prices with regular Firms any good?

Seems a bet, I haven't heard or read anything in our media in in last few days that would suggest that there are problems at 'Well.   Isn't Forth Thistle a Motherwell fan?  He may know more and might be worth pinging a PM to.

Pretty safe to make the semis as we've played Canada and Sweden. A bit of luck and we nick 2nd.

Rene Meulensteen sacked and Felix Magath is appointed first team manager.

Er...

This is the guy who was reportedly nicknamed Saddam by some of his players. I suspect that means he will bring a sense of discipline. Horsey?
