Fred's, Hector's, and my old buddy Dr Noh whom obviously none of us are on this week is swinging beautifully, and absolutely tearing it up on the PGA tour in the event being hosted in New Orleans having shot a bogey-free 65,67,65(-19) for the first three rounds, yes that's noh bogeys.

Spent a couple of hours looking at this this morning.  It is likely to be pretty windy there today but just can't find a bet.  Considered laying the front two.  Anyone got any thoughts?  Looks like it should have potential as a betting heat but starting to think I have wasted my time.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-goalscorer-w-o-suarez

Top goalscorer market without Suarez.

Sturridge is rightfully? a very short 1/6.

The next 2 in the market are what interest me, Toure 8/1, Aguero 10/1.

Each way is top 2, 1/3 odds.

Man City have 9 games remaining, those of which include weak teams such as Arsenal, Sunderland, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, West Ham. Tougher games are Everton, Liverpool and Southampton,

Liverpool have 7 games remaining, they are Tottenham, West Ham, Man City, Norwich, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

I think it seems ok to take on Sturridge in this spot, maybe betting both Toure and Aguero, or selecting one of them to take advantage of what look generous each way terms.

If selecting one, note that Aguero is injured for this weekends game vs Arsenal.
Toure plays every game, Aguero will possibly have to rotate with Negredo and Dzeko when he is fully fit anyway.

Toure has the big game experience and has done this before, surely he will have some more goals in him.
Liverpool/Sturridge haven't been in this position for a long time/ever, will they crack under the pressure?

If I have worked it out correctly and if you bet both, should either win, very good.
If Sturridge wins and Toure finishes second, you will lose a very small amount.
If Sturridge wins and Aguero finishes second, you will win a small amount.

Thoughts?

Just one behind Sturridge now!
Rooney close behind though :|

I'm almost as good as Tikay.

Noh bogeys the first hole!

@Redarmi

I quite like Noh to take this down but the knee-jerk was not enough to draw me in.

Surprised Tal hasn't noticed Bert Streb's Palindromic qualities.  Must be worth a tenner whatever his price, as Tal would say.

I had a look at the past final days in this tourney and despite the course being low scoring, players don't seem to come from behind.

Never heard of Bert Streb. Google sent me to a Robert.

Were you thinking of the golfer Robert Streb or someone else?

My favourites are things with alternating consonants and vowels. I pretty much jumped with joy when there was a question on it Only Connect last week. Goran Ivanisevec is a sportsperson example.

I'm so easily pleased, but we simple folk are why the rest of you look so cultured, so play nicely.

Point stands despite the incorrect spelling.

What is a word called with alternating consonants and vowels?

Might have got some vowels wrong there, or are we just boshing me for not putting the accents in? Either way, fair enough Cheesy

I honestly don't know whether there is a name for that kind of word, although any idea what an elihphile is? (You don't have to know any Greek)

Ha. Excellent, didn't know the word, but it does rather allow itself to be easily determined, or even, back-formed. Wink
